Weaknesses: Marian is a very emotional person and wears her heart on her sleeve…what makes this more difficult to cope with is that not only does that involve the emotions of sadness and heartbreak but also of anger and arousal.

Likes: sun and sand, though her fair skin kills afterwards…oceans, and any body of water, though she can’t swim in them. She also enjoys the feeling of cold metal against her fair wrists and the sharp snap of a whip.

Dislikes: Sushi, rude people, closed minded people, loud people, most people in general really…as well as being lied to…

Hopes: One day Marian hopes to be able to go back home and have a family…a real family…a home, and children of her own…But first she has to get home.

Fears: Like any normal person Marian fears being alone…as well as the unknown. What lies ahead is a very scary prospect.

Clothing Worn: Marian typically wears what other would call an ‘alternative’ style of dress. Most days she can be seen wearing her favourite black PVC miniskirt paired with a tight fitting white linen cropped tee shirt. On her feet are black leather spiked boots.

Accessories: Marian has on her at all times an assortment of unique accessories. These include 2 pairs of handcuffs, Motorola Krzr cell phone, blue iPod nano 4th gen., and little purple zipper earrings in her earlobe as well as an industrial piercing. She also has a tattoo on her right ankle of a riding crop.

Background/History

Marian has an interesting past. One filled with disappointments and hardship. She had a fairly normal childhood up until age 5. She lived with both her parents, had two dogs and a cat, 2 younger sisters and went to Sunday school, her mom was her Sunday school teacher, her dad worked two jobs to support them, but he still read them bedtime stories and called her his princess, she played T-ball with her mum again as her coach…

Then things went for a shit…Her mum(Louisa) decided to take them on a trip(Marian, and her two sisters) to visit her family in Canada. Her father was supposed to join them after he finished work, two days later. Once over in Canada her mother started to cheat on her father, started leaving Marian and her sisters with her parents…

This went on for a few weeks, nearly two months in fact, when Louisa decided that it was time to try and go back home…or at least make it look like she tried to…They got held up at the border and were not allowed to cross back into the states… This was the next to last time that Marian would see across that border…

We will skip over all of the times that Marian was uprooted and relocated…She never lived in one place longer than a year, never got a chance to make real friends until much later in her life. One thing that needs to be highlighted is the fact that around the year 2000 she and her sisters decided that they didn’t want to live with either parent.

There was just too much disappointment involved, and after raising her own sisters for 15 years through sickness and defiance, and after being…violated…by someone that she should have been able to trust, Marian had grown much older much faster than she should have…So from the time that she was 13 years old she has lived with her Grandmother…

Recently it is only Marian and her sister Sarah, living with their grandmother, and have been there for approx. 5 years. Anna, Marian's middle sister left after making some very unfortunate decisions. Now, Marian is a traveling the world as a Professional Student, in a healthy relationship and is about to be married, however…she has to go and settle things with her mother before she can be comfortable about being happy, before she regrets things that she has done…

Personality

Marian is usually an extroverted person…but like many people she has a darker side. Things that seem petty and insignificant to most people, are often a big deal. She is hardworking, and honest, and loyal to the bitter end. Marian has a tendency to rely on people…like a crutch, certain people in particular, these people are very special to her and have helper her through a lot, one could call them her family, though they aren’t really related. Marian also has a tendency to hold grudges…for a very, very, very long time…That is actually the reason for this trip home…Back to her personality…

She has been described by her friend as fun, open-minded, serious, thoughtful, and sometimes a little moody. She, like most people of small stature, fear physical confrontation and avoid it when necessary, however when the circumstances are right and the right people/ideals are questions she will rise to the occasion. She will try to help where she can, even if it means helping someone who will not return the favour except to lie/betray her, such is her lot. Also no matter how lost or alone she feels, she will go out of her way just so that no one will see her cry.
