Eastwards to Mockridge Heights. Some of the folks out here call it Zed Alley. The constant flow of ferals filtering through from the red zones in the north east are part of what makes Mockridge a "nice place to visit", not live, kind of place. The body count outside as of right now is at 17. Sleep is a myth.

Shit is getting thick. While wandering through Mockridge Heights, I received word that some old friends were digging their heels in just north in Galbraith Hills so North I went.

It's a neat little cluster. A 5 block radius of powered and populated buildings. Things feel good, and I think I actually feel safe.

5 May 2009

I've been on the move the past few days. Mainly in search of supplies. Food, water and what ever medical I can scrounge.

Headed east from Gotch Plaza in S. Blytheville, through Greentown, Tapton and then Kempsterbank. Not much contact. Hearing reports of Zeds in Brooksville I was drawn North. The reports weren't thin, things are rough here with frequent attacks and break-ins from both sides. Any place worth holding up in is nearly always heavily barricaded and the people inside won't answer let alone make eye contact. They aren't too friendly up here. I can really see the city changing the further I stray North.

About the only good thing to come out of Brooksville so far, while searching the wards of a hospital I had decided to spend the night in, I came across two familiar faces among the rubble and trash. Things aren’t so bad when you're sitting over a small fire sharing a bottle of wine with old friends. Every cloud.

30 April 2009

After just finding my feet in Lovelock Police Department, South Blythville. I woke up this morning to find the place in dissaray. A lone body and a beaten generator being the only remnants of last night's attack and not a Zed in sight. This was done by human hands.

With the power down in Lovelock PD, I've decided to head east to Gotch Plaza PD. From what I can tell the lights are still on, and I'm bound to run into a friendly face or two from Lovelock. I'm not crossing any fingers though.
