Description
A Henrician college, with an imposing gatehouse concealing a series of charming quadrangles. The cornices are decorated with gargoyles, like human faces twisted in agony - oh wait, those really are human faces twisted in agony.
History
Founded in 1440 by Sir Walter de la Forse, Earl of Malton, Forse Walk School was one of the most prestigious public schools in the country. Forse Walk made Malton a centre of educational excellence for four centuries - until this most unfortunate and regrettable business. Tsk, tsk!
Old Forsians have occupied top positions in the armed forces (no puns, please), the government, and honourable professions of all kinds, and several of the country's Prime Minsters have hailed from these famous playing fields and dormitories.
Naturally Forse Walk operated a strict boys only policy, but since 2005 females (dread word!) and other commoners have on occasion been suffered to enter the school's grounds, with predictably disastrous consequences: standards of behaviour and achievement have dropped, experienced staff have left in droves, and the erudite speech and RP accent of the young Forsians have been replaced with the guttural vernacular of Zombese.
Barricade Policy
This building is an Entry Point for the Went Building. Please keep it at VSB as failure to comply is considered exceptionally bad form, old chap.
