The Shades of Malton: A History
Introduction: Before Malton
The Shades were first a Paratrooper Battalion who served with distinguishment as hardened determined combat specialists. After countless tours and missions the original Shades retired into normal civilian life. Some went on to continue their profession in private military companies, other went into the law enforcement area, but all carried on their skills into their new careers... and into the Outbreak.
Battalion Leader Shade went on into normal life, his career was unknown.
Shade's buddy Simkilla also went into normal life.
Force Commander Khorne carried on doing what he did best, teaching martial arts to law enforcement and also back into the military science field.

Outbreak
But this seemingly perfect reverie was about to end. In 2004 the T4 Outbreak converted the dead into walking shambling masses of zombies. The Shades once again found themselves meeting each other but under more dire circumstances than before. They were paradropped into the contaminated zone but were intercepted by rebel groups with heavy armaments. They were dispersed...
