Deletion's Profile MY SO-CALLED URBAN DEAD LIFE Personal Sites Nolody Studios deviantART My love of zombie flicks brought me to Urban Dead in April 2006. While perusing a horror movie website I came across a blog post about the game and promptly created my first character. A couple of months in, I learned of the Cannonball Crew and joined their group for new recruits called the Loose Cannons. I quickly realized the advantages of being part of an organized group and made every effort to be the best survivor and teammate possible. In August 2006 I became a full-fledged Cannonball Crew member and worked my way up to the rank of Sergeant and then Sergeant First Class. In 2007 I was promoted to Sergeant Major and was able to (formally) kick some butt. In 2008 I received my First Lieutenant stripes. Today, I'm proud to be the Captain and help lead one of the oldest and finest zombie-busting groups in Malton. I appreciate the struggle to survive and banding together to fight a common enemy. Just like the movie-based survivor counterparts, I want to kill the flesh-eating undead and avoid becoming one of them. Eating brains doesn't intrigue me, but my characters may act zombie-like when they're killed so don't be offended if you find one nibbling on your limbs. Yes I have many characters, but I absolutely do not zerg. My characters are spread throughout Malton and well apart from each other. I play this game for fun; cheating would make it pointless. Most of my characters began as Scouts—the military character class that starts with the skill of Free Running—because it's conducive to earning XP while staying safe. Scouts can load up on first aid kits in hospitals, move easily around the city to heal the injured earning 5 XP at a time, and rest in buildings that are heavily barricaded or better. It's an efficient use of AP and a great way to level up in the beginning because you increase your odds of staying alive. Dying is an ordeal for low level survivor characters. It takes a lot of AP to stand up and move to a revive point. Then there's the wait for someone to come by and jab you with a needle. Finally, here are my characters.
