| Dresses practically, with a ski mask to keep warm and minimize facial exposure, nylon running pants, a light shirt which handles warm weather nicely, as well as a sweater-vest to add when it gets cooler. In addition, he dons a light reflective jacket so as not to startle fellow survivors and be on the wrong end of a hasty gunshot.

| A .357 Magnum revolver rests in a holster on his left shoulder, and a 12-gauge over-under shotgun is slung over his right. On his belt, several disposable flare guns can be seen, alongside a hunting knife and one syringe with the safety kept off so as to be ready for immediate use, should a combat revive prove to be the most expedient course of action. Inside the jacket, he keeps a small, one-handed hatchet next to a pair of radios. Inside a small backpack is where the rest of the supplies go: first-aid supplies, a few tools, more syringes, food, and other pieces of equipment.
