I am learning to make wikipages through trial and error (mostly error, but I haven't been arraigned yet).
Back to play UD for a little while, in a fit of nostalgia. For such a low tech game, it has an unusual appeal that has lasted years now.

Since I started playing, I've been looking for a decent survivor organization in the game, and today I found ''two''!
My current active character is Cujo the Police Dog, my attempt at role playing something a little outside of the box.

The first is '''The Fortress''', a large military-themed group. My scout has joined them and is making his way to the rendezvous location, though it will take several days to link up. Their organization is impressive, and I've already learned a couple of useful things I would probably never learn on my own.
He spends his time running around looking for people who need help and either healing them (if he can) or directing them towards help (if he can manage to get the point across, without using human speech). This has led to some rather excellent role playing opportunities, and I'm pleased to say both survivors and zombies have taken the time to chat with Cujo in character. The folks at Quartly Library have been exceptionally entertaining.

The second is '''10 Minutes From Hell''', a smaller community-themed group in the general area of Molebank. They do a lot of healing and revives, and they've been very helpful to a couple of my characters who've passed through the area. Their attitude is much more casual than the Fortress, but they seem experienced and very 'new player friendly', which is impressive in its own right, in Urban Dead. I've applied to join them, with my scientist.
As far as in game tactics, he avoids combat generally (he can bite, however) and drags fuel cans and generators to places that need them. In the unhappy event that he gets zombified (again) he spends his time looking for a Rot Revive Clinic to get rezzed, and helping survivors as best he can (this usually leads to him getting gunned down or chopped up by hysterically fearful survivors, of course). He does speak when he is a zombie, but as you may expect from a dog, his vocabulary leaves much to be desired.

I am tring to remember how to use the attack codes to Bite people when I am *not* a zombie, but without success.
== Current Wiki projects for me: ==

*figure out how to upload images to the wiki, so I can have a picture for each of my characters (I've had it explained, but haven't attempted it yet)

*figure out how to actually create my own templates

*find out if there is a way to link a sound bite on a wiki page. It would be neat to play the first few bars of an appropriate theme song when someone visits my journal, etc

Back to play UD for a little while, in a fit of nostalgia. For such a low tech game, it has an unusual appeal that has lasted years now.

My current active character is Cujo the Police Dog, my attempt at role playing something a little outside of the box.
