Shin-Ra Electric Power Company News Archive
This document exists as a record of news updates by officials of various capacities of the Shin-Ra Electric Power Company. It exists as a historical repository for important events in Dentonside, because what affects Shin-Ra affects the world.

01/30Addendum to Memo from Agent Kurt West. RE: Rotter's Reliefe.
A recent tactical movement has lead me to take shelter in various locations where the majority of survivors appear be infected across the Blood Brain Barrier. Where before I was hesitant to attack an apparent survivor in a crowd, now I have concerns about retaliation from other rotters. I would greatly appreciate clarification on the question of treatment of identified Rotters, and protocol regarding public announcement of intention.
Furthermore, I have noticed several individuals, living and otherwise, wearing a particular symbol. Upon investigation of this badge, I have encountered a group calling themselves "Rotter's Relief". Perhaps management is already aware of this group's existence, but I foresee major conflict between our organizations in the future, depending upon how Shin-Ra Civic Doctrine is to be carried out.

01/23Memo from Agent Kurt West. RE: Intruders and Brainrot.
Recent events in our own HQ building have raised one or two questions regarding protocol. First, I would like to ask what Company policy dictates when non Shin-Ra survivors enter Shin-Ra property. Shelter is difficult to find, but security remains a major concern, especially as there is no way to identify ill intentions. My second concern deals with Brain Rot. The Company's official view on the ailment is obvious, but I often encounter 'Rotters in highly populated areas such as Malls have some concerns regarding a mass response to an attack on another survivor. The last issue I would like to raise is the question of tracking 'Rotters. I believe it would be of some benefit to maintain a record of known afflicted for company use. I myself have a small flock of names to ad to such a list. Thank you for your time.

12/14 Shin-Ra forces have been taking it to the undead with a vengeance only a seething, burning (but just!) hatred could inspire. Carry on in this fashion and bonuses will be issued this quarter!

12/01 After having met uncharacteristically fierce and unusually coordinated undead resistance in Dentonside, Shin-Ra forces have pulled back for a resupply operation (our munitions having been expended). Strike team members are instructed to equip themselves with as much ammunition as humanly possible while remaining ambulatory. And don't dawdle, we don't want Dentonside Power defending the plant alone.

November 2006
11/29 Shin-Ra forces engaged in a training op somehow ended up in Roftwood. For obvious reasons, this is less than good. The Shin-Ra forces in Dentonside are attempting to hold the police station, as ammunition is vital to our survival, as well as our future goals.

11/24 Shin-Ra Company forces have hit a minor snag overnight in the power station. The lack of a viable revive point in Dentonside is becoming increasingly apparent. This will change.
