There have been a number of disputes of all kinds over the summer between the long-standing allies the Creedy Defence Force and the Army Control Corps. This was mainly due to clashes between Swiper and a number of the CDF leadership figures. However, thanks to some extensive efforts made by several key figures in both organisations, these problems have been pretty much resolved. Although there were some concerns over Swiper's status; as although he had not officially taken a leave of absence, he effectively had, and had formed the NMO; an anti-CDF organisation.
 
After a lot of confusion and a lack of activity or information from Swiper (due to real life commitments) this eventually resulted in a lot of confusion. In the end, Major Myo took over as CO after a vote and with the support of Swiper.
 
Not long after this, Acting Special Forces Commander ranceblc resigned over the whole NMO conspiracy, which eventually turned out to be a sort of 'test' conducted independently by a small group of officers. rance felt he had been backstabbed by said officers and left to work as a permanent PKer. Since then rance (aka [http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/User:Johnny_Reb Johnny Reb]) spent some time on the forums. He apparently felt hard-done to and seemed to relish stirring up trouble on the forums. Eventually his account was banned as it could not be deleted as per his request.

The ACC returned when the attack on [[Fort Creedy]] was just getting underway but it was quickly decided that the fort would not hold and that the group should focus on holding the Morrish NT building and [[Giddings Mall]]. The original Big Bash was unable to take Giddings and the ACC is hoping to repeat this success with the second bash. Currently all members of the ACC are holding the NT and the Mall.

After several confused weeks following the Shubeck Issue, Perryn (Operation: Black Ice 2), and several minor engagements - the ACC was planning on building a fortress in Penny Heights - or launching a new wave of attack on Perryn.
 
However, reports started to arrive which spoke of an epic battle at [[Caiger Mall]]. The ACC was thus in a dilemma, with this sudden pressure to break off a covert operation in progress to assist the defenders at Caiger Mall. It was eventually decided that around half of the ACC force would be redeployed to Caiger Mall to assist the survivors, and requests were sent out to all members asking them to respond to the situation if possible.
 
The Mall still stands to this day. After a long siege, the RRF claimed that they were returning home, since they were not able to penetrate the defences in any significant way. With the loss of the RRF attacking the Mall, the number of zombies decreased dramatically, thus it was ever less likely to fall as indeed it didn't.
 
However there were suspicions that it was all a cooperative ploy between the hordes, so certain troops stayed on duty to check until it became clear that the zombies really had given up in the first true human defensive victory. The Caiger Mall Survivors, along with a number of other groups, still hold it to this day.

The Giddings Defenders led to increased cooperation with the various groups assisting at [[Giddings Mall]]. When the Mall fell, only one member of the ACC made it out alive, he proved instrumental in assisting and coordinating the revives of the other ACC members.

Unfortunately, defensive preparations were hampered by pkers, many of which are members of the group Sometimes. Who these pkers were is anyone's guess; with no concrete proof despite many theories. In the end the ACC was gathered and the few besieging zombies fought off.

An emergency operation which over-ruled Operation: Emperor Mushroom and resulted in the recall of everyone from Roftwood.
 
Incoming reports indicated a siege was soon to come to Giddings, so all other operations were declared over and this set up as the official defence of Giddings operation. All members of the ACC arrived at the Mall and worked with the other members of the [[Alliance of Giddings]] to defend it. The operation was declared a resounding success when the besieging horde ([[The Shining Ones]]) retreated.

After the completion of Aspestos we moved onto the pressing issue of reclaiming AoG territories. This operation was a planned reclamation assault on Fort Creedy. The initial stage was a complete success; the fort was cleared of zombies entirely and barricaded up. During the next few days we locked down the fort entirely, killing all the zombies in the fort's grounds and the CDF started to trickle in as well as a number of unaffiliated survivors and other members of the AoG. After defending the fort as the final stage of this operation we have moved on to our next.

Initially the operation worked well when we with help of various local groups retook and barricaded the mall. But due to few reinforcements and steadily new zombies, who we believe are more or less feral, the mall and our Forward HQ, Fort Romero fell. After retaking the mall several more times, we were called down for an emergency operation against the [[Big Bash]].

Following the Corps' arrival at [[Fort Perryn]], a strong defense was established by both ACC personnel and individual survivors. Whilst initally successful at clearing both the Fort and surrounding area; the innability to dispose of bodies outside of the Fort began to take its toll, resulting in several days of close-quarters fighting which resulted in heavy casulties on both sides. Despite this, the ACC was able to not only significantly reduce the amount of zombies in the area, but also provide a successful demonstration of how to take and hold a position against superior numbers.
 
After some time, the High Command of the Corps (under the leadership of Colonel Myo) decided the troops needed a little change of scenery from the normally hectic schedule. Thus we left the Fort in the capable hands of resident survivors and headed north.

However, news of the heavy assault on [[Giddings Mall]] to the south soon caught the attention of the troops, and so a plan was drawn up to assist the besieged inhabitants of Giddings.

A defense was made at [[Giddings Mall]], but it was rendered useless by fleeing survivors, though those who remained gave a valiant effort to hold mall. It was mutually agreed between the survivor groups that the mall would fall fast, so a last stand was made at the Morrish NT building. Collectively, the survivors in that building had been noted by LUE as having put up a reasonable fight since they had first started their group. While the mission ultimately ended in defeat, it still provided evidence that the Army Control Corps (among other groups) were willing to show no mercy and fight until the bitter end.

The Army Control Corps initially entered the suburb of [[Tollyton]] in order to help hold [[Woodroffe Mall]]. This mall was held for about a week but fell. The ACC retreated to [[Hildebrand Mall]] which was similarly under siege. The ACC helped to hold the mall for a number of weeks before it became embroiled in a small fight with the PK group [[Revenge]]. Revenge members had planned to ambush the ACC using a spy to relay information. However, the High Command became aware of this plan and attacked before they had the chance to attack. The ACC refused to abandon the mall to fight the PK'ers though and stayed in the mall for another week. Finally a large scale attack on Hildebrand from several PK'er groups unaffiliated with Revenge decimated those ACC who were sleeping in the threatened corner. With an upcoming mission constraining our ability to stay in Hildebrand and in light of the large PK'er presence the ACC retreated to restock for the upcoming mission.

A degree of statistical accomplishments awarded the Army Controls Corps a variant of success. Assaults on Blackmore were commenced as often as possible, but it was only a matter of time before the ACC would alter its directives and resupply for the next Operation.

The Army Control Corps is a tactical and mobile group dedicated to aiding survivors and eradicating the zombie infestation that pervades Malton.  Some of our Operations involve the salvaging of decimated suburbs, assisting Survivors/Allies in the defense of buildings besieged by large zombie hordes, and the pursuit of humanitarian efforts which involve the revivification and medical treatment of local Survivors in hard-hit areas.
 
The ACC is currently composed of three major divisions and one minor division: the Infantry, Medical, and Trainee Corps, respectively, and the Special Forces.  Additionally, the majority of the ACC is divided into two squads under the names of Echo One and Echo Two with the intent to carry out various missions more effectively.

This is mostly a joke, although would be good flavor.


Items

Donor Card

  • Effects: Allows Surgeons to perform "Post Mortem" surgery sub-skill (as outlined blow) on carriers corpse.
  • Encumbrance: 1%.
  • Where can the item be found and what are it's search odds: Hospitals, 5% chance of finding.


Kidney

  • Effects: Recovers 15 Health to Survivor, can only be used on survivor with 15 Health or less. If survivor is on more than 15 Health they are too healthy to risk organ replacement. 5% Chance of killing Survivor instead of healing. Can not be used on the Surgeon carrying the Kidney - can't perform surgery on self.
  • Encumbrance: 1%.
  • Where can the item be found and what are it's search odds: Corpses, 20% chance of finding, viable corpses only - see below.
  • AP to use: 5 AP.


Skill Outline

  • Prerequisities: N/A
  • Location in Skill tree: Either this skill would be an addition to Surgery, or would come in as a new skill - "Coroner?" under or next to Surgeon in the skill tree.

A surgeon could do with a little something extra to do, and this would make dedicated medics lives a bit more interesting too, while not adding a massive advantage to anyone.

First: When there is a body around, someone with the Surgery skill would have a button appear that read "Check for Donor Card". This would take 1AP and would give the following possible results:

  • If body does not carry card, read: "This body has no Donor Card. You should respect their wishes." - no further options.

Have card options:

  • If body started life as a zombie, read: "This body is too deteriorated to have any possible organs of use." - no further options.
  • If body has skill "Flesh Rot", read: "You can see without touching that there's nothing you need in there!" - no further options.
  • If body is revivifying, read: "This person looks too gosh-darn healthy to cut up!" - no further options.
  • Otherwise, if body is dead survivor/zombie who started as a survivor, read: "You dig a faded Donor Card out of a pocket, and glancing over the body decide that it might be worth a closer look." - new options below.

Second: If you get the option to continue, a new option appears: "Perform Post Mortem". This would take 5AP and would give the following possible results:

  • 40% chance of reading: "In this poor light and without proper tools, you've done more harm than good and anything that might have been useful is now in too many pieces." - no further options.
  • 40% chance of reading: "Sadly this body has been lying in the heat too long and has deteriorated beyond any useful state." - no further options.
  • 20% chance of reading: "There be treasure in them there guts! That kidney looks to be in working condition, you can probably make use of that later!" - gain item "Kidney".

Post Mortem automatically makes 2 items of clothing bloodier.
