Welcome brave adventurers, to the home of The Librarians! I suppose you're here to check out a book to keep you entertained? Or maybe one to broaden your horizons and educate you a little? No?! Just hiding from the zombies you say? Well make yourself at home, don't get any dirt on the books, and help protect the place should it come under siege eh? In the mean time, feel free to review our rules:
- Anyone is welcome to join the librarians, so long as they are able to prove there literacy.
- All members must keep a book on their person at all times, and upon finishing one, get a new one as soon as safely possible. Zombie invasions are no reason for illiteracy rates to rise!
- Travel around Malton repairing ruined libraries on a regular basis. Once more members are brought into the group, we will most likely break into sub groups, so as to keep more libraries in proper working order.
Who are The Librarians?
The Librarians are a group of people who believe that just because the world has fallen into chaos, it is no reason for the books of Malton or any other accessible locations to fall forgotten by the wayside. We are the type people you probably saw on the streets before the Zombie invasion, hugging a faded old book to their chest with a mad gleam in their eye. We are the type who will kill you as swiftly as possible should we see anyone, human or zombie, desecrating the sanctity of our beloved libraries for any reason not deemed as educational. We are the Pagemasters, the Keeper of the Books and Guardians of the Written Word.
But why PK over some stupid books?
The reason we believe that books are worth killing over, is solely due to the longevity and intelligence found in the written word. Whereas man is mortal (more or less), books are forever. Or as a man once put it: Ideas are bulletproof, men are not.
