"All the trees in the forest entwine their arms, reaching towards the sky...

Gathering leaves devour the light as the darkness of the forest deepens...

The hunter does not notice the eyes and fangs of beasts lurking in darkness...

The disciple of the skull shall fall asleep in the deep pathways of the forest...

Tonight, the hunter shall become the hunted." ~Jinxy Sly

Who we are

Sleeping Forest is a Survivor group operating out of the Suburb of Scarletwood. While we may not be strong in numbers, we will mercilessly and tirelessly fight the undead. Our members are silent, making incursions into undead territory to strike fear into their dessicated hearts. Our specialty is assassination, specifically of Undead Leaders who are co-ordinating large groups or hordes.

Our philosophy: A serpent may be one hundred feet long, yet to kill it only the head need be severed.

Our purpose in Scarletwood

Why Scarletwood, you ask? Our aesthetic reason is simple: because it is quiet. While we may enjoy killing the undead for fun and profit, we all need a little down-time now and then. Our hunting reason is solid: Scarletwood's proximity to Blesley Mall in Gulsonside. Not only is it the only mall for a suburb or two (which makes gathering supplies somewhat easier), it is also a beacon of flesh for most undead. Therefore, we remani in Scarletwood in order to have a stable base of operations out of which to attack any undead in the surrounding area.

Current News

Currently, we are laying low until we can get more members. Have an itch to kill the undead? Love the thrill of the hunt? Come and join the Sleeping Forest, where undead sleep but do not wake up!

Strike Teams

Though most of our members are freelance Hunters, we do have several squads dedicated to stamping out the threat of the undead in farr-off corners of Malton. At any one time we have at least two teams out in the field, and in times of trouble for humans in Malton may have all five teams deployed.

Joining a Strike Team

A Strike Team can be joined by posting on our recruting section on our forums. Each Strike Team Leader can choose to recruit or sack any member of their team who they feel is not performing well with the group, so working as a team is imperative for any potential recruits.

Monroeville Detachment

Before the borders of Monroeville were sealed, we dispatched a team of Sleeping Forest operatives to the doomed city to ascertain the situation. Trapped by the military, these brave souls still fight on to protect those that are left in the city without even the security of revivification. This lost detachment still operates under the name of Sleeping Forest.

Update: It seems that those brave souls still trapped in Monroeville have all fallen to the undead. May their souls have the rest in death that they could never achieve in life.
