The Toxic Independents is a punk band from Malton formed in 1998. They achieved some notoriety in the underground circuit of the punk scene in the beginning of the 2000's. Their style was highly influenced by classic punk bands from the late 70's and early 80's (Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, etc.); their last album "No, sir!" included obvious references to crust and anarcho-punk bands like Amebix and Crass. They used to play mostly in Club Clement in Foulkes Village.

Members

The Toxic Independents were composed by Mr. Ant (drums), Rik Dumb (bass), Jello Ignorant (guitar) and Monsieur Fukof (vocals). The only of them known to have survived the 2005 zombie outbreak is Jello Ignorant, that uses now the name Anarchist Renegade[1].
