What is Yeatman Communications?

Yeatman Communications was founded by the former Library Director of Yeatman Library. His travels took him out of the Malton area during the period of quarantine. Despite considerable difficulty he reentered Malton in one of the supply drops. Honing his skills in the wastes of Malton, he has returned to Yeatman Library to reestablish its radio station, MPM, and its vast collection of tomes.

As he couldn't achieve this single-handedly, he has gathered together many of his previous employees and patrons in order to restore communication and culture to Gibsonton.

Theories and Practices

1. Zombies are the ultimate form of comedy as they represent the unending desire for life, therefore we shall laugh at them.

2. Generators bring light to the darkness, words to the silent, and reading light to the patrons.

3. The Radio spreads the cultural values of the populace, therefore it must remain operative.

4. Knowledge = power = energy = matter = mass, Therefore the library will, if left unmaintained, become a black hole that will destroy the world. It must be maintained.

5. Mobile Phones are evil. Unfortunately, as a library we maintain the MPM as a form of Freedom of Information. However, the use of Mobile Phones in the reading area will result in defenestration.

6. Books will be available to the public as they are available to the Library Staff.

Recruitment Policy

Recruitment into the Yeatman Communications group entails:

A desire to protect and maintain the library, and its facilities (Radio Transmitter, Generator, MPM), as a center of communication and culture.
