First off, if anyone recognises the picture in my banner up there, don't judge me. No, I haven't read the book. No, I haven't seen the movie. I found it and liked the image so I'm using it until I can be bothered making something better. Don't worry, it'll be gone soon...
Anyway, in what’s commonly known as real life I’m an unemployed early-twenty-something ex-art student from Ireland who hates introducing herself as her nationality and her profession. I played Urban Dead for a while in late 2005/early 2006 with two pro-survivors and a zombie but got pretty tired of it pretty quickly, mostly because I wasn’t into meta-gaming and wasn’t in any groups so I got bored. Then, once I had moved out and discovered that my housemate played I got interested in giving it another go and created Sadie with the sole intention of turning her into a crazed Pker.
There really isn’t that much to say about me, to be honest. I don’t sleep much. I mostly hang around with the weirdest bunch of freaks and creeps I can find because I find fucked up weirdos to be the nicest, coolest people on Earth and the easiest to get along with. My biggest passions would be art, writing and music, even though I suck at trying to play any instruments. I like chocolate, foreign movies and the rain. I dislike uncomfortable clothes, ketchup and most people. I have nice eyes, lots of people say so. I want to marry Damien Rice. I think I’m rambling.
If you run into me in-game don't be afraid to stop and say hello. I like meeting other sensible players and I'm less likely to kill you if you're friendly.

Sadie is currently my only PKer and I love her dearly. She is generally quiet but intense. She was a self-exiled outcast before the outbreak and had never really fit in with the 'cool' crowd of Maltons social structure, taking to spending hours on end alone, drawing or reading in the library or listening to music. She had always felt looked down upon by everyone else, probably more so than she actually was.She was a talanted artist and had just begun her first year of art college when the outbreak struck Malton, the city she has lived in her whole life. The trauma of her first experiances of the outbreak changed her dramatically, forcing her into a completely different state of mind, although she sees it as a liberation. It was at this point that she chose to name herself 'Sadie Mae Glutz', using the name of the Manson family member she'd always had an obsessive fascination with. She became violent, angry and bitter but simaltaneously a lot more passionate and loving than she had been before. Her view of the world has been extremely simplified, boiling everything down to black and white, good and bad, she only sees the extremes in people, not the overall mixture of their personality. Good people get to live, bad people don't.

Aside from containing all of Sadies backstory (which is actually a fairly small part of the contents) it's an amazing novel of a thread with some incredible creative writing and a genuinely deep, involving, interesting plot. It's pretty dead at the minute but feel free to try to kickstart it again if you like.
