Thanatos awoke in Malton in the last days of 2012, with no idea who he had been or what he was. After collecting some basic xp, he began a path of dualism. Not necessarily the usual dual nature of zombie/survivor, but the path of vengeful vigilantism and peaceful cooperation. | |||
He is usually active as a dedicated reviver/medic, who helps revive and repair. He enjoys following the MOB's groans and heading into the most dangerous zones. When not following the MOB or a similar zombie horde, he wanders the reddest, deadest suburbs. It is in ruins that he feels most at home. Despite the occupational hazards and occasaion death, the quiet and stillness do Thanatos good. He is a well-versed practitioner of hiding in ruined suburbs, and has spent many a night in an opened, ruined building, axe and syringe in hand. | |||
However, he is far from a kind soul or a selfless martyr. He is not driven by compassion or any pro-survivor emotion. He simply finds ruined areas most exciting, and he looks with contempt on the common human who flees red suburbs and believes such weakness is why the zombie plague has continued for so many years. A side effect of this mentality is that he does shun PKers as most survivors do. He will revive anyone standing in a RP. He believes anyone who wishes has a right to have a chance to live, but not that everyone alive deserves to live. | |||
And if he should be killed, Thanatos remains loyal to himself, and obeys his hunger, whether that is at the cost of others or not. If a human revives him, he gladly reclaims his role as a reviver and passes on syringes. But though he ends each day at a cemetery, he will spend each day as a devoted zombie, without artifical self-control. | |||
Recently, upon being PKed without cause several times, he has decided to extend his violence to fellow survivors as well. He will not kill without reason, but he will pursue and deliver vengeance on anyone who kills him, or anyone he sees PKing someone under level 20. | |||
