Daikon Gumi
AquaQuestion.jpg
Abbreviation: 大根組
Group Numbers: foochi wan
Leadership: This is the Daikon Gumi, so whaddaya think? But since Rhialto seems to make the most entertaining drunken rants, we often lend him an ear.
Goals: Teach the zombies how to speak good English.
Recruitment Policy: A convoluted process taking many months and interviews in distant cities.
Contact:

The Daikon Gumi consists of (and is currently only open to) members of the Big Daikon Men (and women) of Adventure Club. It is highly appropriate that our logo banner is misspelled, despite its filename. The Daikon Gumi was founded on the 16th of October 2005.

16th October

The Daikon Gumi descended upon Malton in force, having previously sent scouting parties to investigate the city for possible entertainment value during off hours. Initial reports were promising.

19th October

Daikoners decided to meet at the Beer Towers (bleeding typical ALTs), which last night was stormed by a zombie army. A zombie spy by the name of daikonpoo lead the assault and caused horrible injuries to the Daikoners. For his crimes he was killed but has been reborn in zombie form. The Daikoners are currently (19th of october) scattered around the beer towers, mostly seeking shelter in the hospital.

Do NOT go to Beer Towers. That last edit was by user Yamato, a known enemy of the Daikon Gumi.

23rd October

We have been sitting quietly, scattered over a small cluster of safe houses in an undisclosed location. Some of us have been practicing with our fire axes on each other, and using our vast supply of first aid kits to heal each other immediately afterwards. As a result of this practice, many of us have improved our skill with our axes, ready for our revenge against the zombies.

29th October

In view of the recent RRF activity in Havercroft-ku, the Daikon Gumi has decided to relocate to a new ward, in location that will, naturally, remain secret.

2nd November

The People of the land where the sun rises greet the People of the land where the sun sets. We hope you are well. Tentative diplomatic negotiations have been opened with a view to starting a Sino-Japanese alliance.

10th November

In a clandestine voting measure by all members present (one), a unanimous decision was made to support the Uniform Barricading Policy.

25th November

Independant volunteers from the Daikon Gumi have been heading north to support Caiger Mall.

29th November

Bonenkai! It has been decided that the annual Daikon Gumi bonenkai will be held at Caiger Mall, on 10th December. This will coincide with our real-life bonenkai celebrations. All Daikoners are requested to attend, preferably quick (that's archaic-speak for alive).

ruuru wa nan desu ka?

The only rule is that we are all humans. We are united in our common ablity to speak English well, and it is our sworn duty to teach (at gunpoint, if necessary) this skill to the zombies. However, we strongly encourage games and other activities to help them learn this vital skill.

Most of our members can be easily recognised by the word Daikon in the name. We wear our clan name as a badge of honour. However, some of our group practice the ancient art of 忍術, and as befits such stealthy individuals, they neither wear our clan name, nor do they appear on the list below.

Currently, we are organising, and plan to gather for the first ever 'Kill-O-Rama' once we are of sufficient strength.

Please put "Daikon Gumi" in your character profile if you are a member of the Daikon Gumi. That is, no punctuation, one space, and the first letter of each word capitalised.

The following are the enemies of the Daikon Gumi, and must be killed on sight, or else forced to listen and repeat inane Engrish phrases until they puke. Other alternate punishments include being force-fed Q-shok or the dreaded kancho.

(please list any suspected Daikon Zombie Team Members encountered)

-Suspected DZ Members include

tomodachi

The following are friends/those who have helped out Daikoners. Restraint is called for when on a killing spree should one of their names pop up. Reciprocal help is also a way to keep the wa.
