Alger Gray - Thin, average height. He has gunmetal glasses on under the goggles he wears and spiked light brown hair. He carrying a backpack containing his books and research papers, among other things. A long knife and a pair of pistols are tucked in his belt.

Has a rather somber personality, but is prone to occasional bursts of joviality. He possesses a sharp wit and enjoys subtly insulting those he dislikes. His favorite pastimes are reading and telling jokes over drinks with his buddies.

He went to college in Seattle, where he got a Ph.D in Herpetology. A few years later, he was hired by NecroTech, whose executives were interested in his work with snake venom. He has since derived a powerful decoagulant from the venom of the African Twig Snake, designed to reverse the post-mortem blood clotting that afflicts the undead. It is one of the many components of the revivification serum.
