Welcome, Previewing & Page Deletion
Hi Nursefighteradam! I saw you recently joined UDWiki, and wanted to welcome you on behalf of Project Welcome! If you have any questions or need any help, don't hesitate to contact me at my talk page. I also wanted to note a couple things: I noticed you've been making a lot of edits in close sequence to your userpage. There's a button that's really useful for this called "Show preview" (located next to "Save page") which allows you to see your edit and make further changes without saving the page, and that way not filling recent changes. Also, to let you know, I deleted the page Nursefighteradam as pages related to users or their characters should be kept in the "User:" namespace. Thanks, and have a great day! Page Move
Your journal page has been moved into your userspace at User:Nursefighteradam/journal, as similarly to the character page moe above, journal pages aren't to be kept in mainspace. -- Spiderzed█ 00:26, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
Welcome
Hello, help your self to some of these freshly baked post-apocalyptic welcome cookies, they are to die for. I look forward to reading your character journal. Cheers! --Wez 04:56, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
Style of table of contents
You asked on my talk page about styling your journal table of contents "normal" like Wikipedia, I am not too sure what you mean, perhaps you mean page contents, not table of contents? What I do notice is that you use multiple tables, that causes different widths and column alignments. If you put your content all in one table, it would line up better. I made you a Sandbox page that shows two styles you can start with. All I did was put your content in one table. --Wez 07:15, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
- Oh I saw your user page and not the journal, yes you want to put the __TOC__ keyword in there somewhere, I did that for you, but it gets overlapped by a floating div so you may want to move it somewhere better. The funny thing is that TOC shows automatically when you use any of the main =header= formats, but it did not pick up on your page for some reason. So you can force it with the keyword. --Wez 07:15, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
- I am glad that was what you wanted. I see the headings are black-on-black and unreadable, anyway you can also use : to indent your talk replies, like this reply is. --Wez 17:01, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
It's been nice reading your journals! --Wez 15:18, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
