| The '''Malton Vice Unit''' is an ally of the [[Department of Emergency Management]], which has more than 200 active members. Tasked pre-quarantine by the mayor of Malton, the MVU is an independent, undercover department tasked with assisting the [[Malton Police Department|MPD]] in protecting the streets.

| Membership in the vice unit is not restricted to [[police]]-class characters. Civilian and military may apply, although the unit only accepts the most highly decorated and experienced detectives.

| The Malton Vice Unit is a crack, mobile strike team dedicated to serving justice in any way possible. The MVU is not adverse to using excessive force where necessary, especially on the streets of Malton.

| Members of the MVU rarely make reports, or check in with the PD owing to the nature of their mandate, which involve quickly weeding out the worst of Malton's criminals and moving on without being bogged down in local politics and paperwork.

| All members are highly decorated officers who have undergone rigorous training, and spent years on the streets honing their detective work, mostly, but not limited to part of the [[DEM]].
