Operation COWBOY

July 2016 - West Becktown Area

  • July 13 - Staubach announces the start of Operation COWBOY: an effort to scout, reclaim and repair West Becktown and rid it of its Ghost Town-status.
Johnny Twotoes, Benjamin Moore and AssassinT90 enter the area as the core team.
  • July 14 - Less than 24 hours after the start of Operation COWBOY: more than half the map has been scouted, several buildings have been repaired and even more barricaded.
Number of buildings considered done: 9
  • July 15 - Repair efforts are going better than expected. Buildings that need zed evicted are being postponed to a later point, when there are sufficient TRP's and safehouses back online.
Number of buildings considered done: 16
  • July 16 - No less than 32 buildings in West Becktown are considered safe and intact at this point. With only 3 locations left to scout, 1 needing firepower and only 5 needing heavy repair efforts, the reclamation of West Becktown is nearing its end.
Number of buildings considered done: 32
  • July 18 - Operation COWBOY was a resounding success. With minimal manpower and little to no support, the EBD has cleared, repaired and barricaded an entire suburb, in less than a week. Exceptions are the Flowar Building and several dark buildings.
Number of buildings considered done: 43
