Operation COWBOY

July 2016 - West Becktown Area

  • July 13 - Staubach announces the start of Operation COWBOY: an effort to scout, reclaim and repair West Becktown and rid it of its Ghost Town-status.
Johnny Twotoes, Benjamin Moore and AssassinT90 enter the area as the core team.
  • July 14 - Less than 24 hours after the start of Operation COWBOY: more than half the map has been scouted, several buildings have been repaired and even more barricaded.
Number of buildings considered done: 9
  • July 15 - Repair efforts are going better than expected. Buildings that need zed evicted are being postponed to a later point, when there are sufficient TRP's and safehouses back online.
Number of buildings considered done: 16
  • July 16 - No less than 32 buildings in West Becktown are considered safe and intact at this point. With only 3 locations left to scout, 1 needing firepower and only 5 needing heavy repair efforts, the reclamation of West Becktown is nearing its end.
Number of buildings considered done: 32
  • July 18 - Operation COWBOY was a resounding success. With minimal manpower and little to no support, the EBD has cleared, repaired and barricaded an entire suburb, in less than a week. Exceptions are the Flowar Building and several dark buildings.
Number of buildings considered done: 43

  • August 2 - Lee Liu quickly secures a cluster of buildings in Lukinswood, the first scouting reports come in and the suburb seems to be in a better state than was initially feared. The Knights announce that they will arrive in the area later than expected. Cooperation is delayed for a later project.
  • August 3 - Lights go on in several key buildings of the Lukinswood Base. No hostile action reported as of yet.
Number of buildings considered done: 31
  • August 5 - All locations have been scouted, and their wiki danger reports updated. Scouting efforts have been redirected to other areas.
  • August 11 - Minor progress has been made across the board. All crucial TRPs have been declared safe, with the majority being lit. Locations requiring heavy duty work are limited to tertiary dark buildings and the Probert Building. All activity has been redirected to other suburbs. Operation Lukinswood was a success.
