Background:

Eldridge served as a Corporal in the US Marines. His unit was being sent over to the middle east to continue in the conflict and had stopped in England. Taking advantage of a few days of R&R, Eldridge traveled to Malton. Unarmed and unsuspecting, Eldridge had no weapon and only his training to help him survive the early days of the outbreak.

Shades of Malton

Eldridge found a group of survivors made up of experts from all fields (SWAT teams, Doctors, Royal Marines, Scientists, etc) that formed the "Shades of Malton". Seeing this as the best organized group he had yet encountered, he took an axe and began his career in Shades, working up to Administraor and Captain of the Home Defense Unit. Security being a priority, he spends his days working on the Shades HQ and training new recruits to become veteran fighters.
