Most O4B soldiers were sent in ground vehicles, which were quickly overrun and infected by zombies. The helicopters sent in eventually had to land for fuel, and were also overrun by zombies. The only surviving ODSTs today are the one's who got out quickly and broke rank. With only the ammo they could carry on their backs, many of the soldiers were killed or infected, and the survivors scattered. | |||
Recently a new leader, known only as Toastus, has called the surviving ODSTs out of hiding. He is regrouping them into a new Battalion to combat the rampaging horde. Based in Miltown, his plans are somewhat enigmatic and esoteric, but they seem sound. The ODSTs are coming out of hiding. | |||
