Quoted from Toastus in his Malton speech concerning the infestation: "Our Battalion's history can be traced back to the very start of the infection. The 4th Battalion was sent to the Congo Jungle to contain a rebellion against the UN, and to stop a genocide. We must have brought it back from a cave somewhere, because that's where viruses breed. Anyway, when we got back, Corporal Jason McGahee was on leave here in Malton, his hometown. We can only assume that Necrotech acquired the virus off McGahee's person and experimented with it before releasing it to the public."

Are battalion history can be traced back to the very start of the infection. Are Battalion was task to destroy a flood ship that survifed the explosin of the Ark. We followd it through a forerunner portal to another dimesnion where we destroyed the ship, and stop it from reaching earth. Unfortunly a flood pod made it to the surface, and the corporaten known as necro tech took a flood body. At first we thought the their technology could not do anything with the body, but we were proved wrong. Necro tech used tissue from the flood body and combined with ther own reaserch, creating the zombie.
The virus spread, and quickly engulfed the city. The O4B was just one of the many groups of soldiers sent to contain the outbreak. Most O4B soldiers were sent in ground vehicles, which were quickly overrun and infected by zombies. The helicopters sent in eventually had to land for fuel, and were also overrun by zombies. The only surviving ODSTs today are the one's who got out quickly and broke rank. With only the ammo they could carry on their backs, many of the soldiers were killed or infected, and the survivors scattered.

Relizing that this flood hybrid could destroy this earth, we sent a 100 ODST to the cradle of the infection. At first are supeoir small arms held them of untill are vehicles came. But then disater struck. Are ships was destroyed along with all are reinforments. With only the ammo we could bring with are drop pods, many of are comrades were killed or infected, and the survifors scatterd. We have only just started regrouping with the help of are leader, Toastus. We look for all are ODST brothers
Recently a new leader, known only as Toastus, has called the surviving ODSTs out of hiding. He is regrouping them into a new Battalion to combat the rampaging horde. Based in Miltown, his plans are somewhat enigmatic and esoteric, but they seem sound. The ODSTs are coming out of hiding.

ODST 4th Battalion

Group History Quoted from Toastus in his Malton speech concerning the infestation: "Our Battalion's history can be traced back to the very start of the infection.
