Detective Ice's Story

Detective Tyler Ice, better known just as Detective Ice, got transfered to Malton just before the outbreaks. He spent almost a year just going from place to place helping out where he could. Around November of 2007, after spending a few months defending Dowdney Mall, he joined up with Lt. Wood and helped take Pashenton back from the zombie horde. He then spent the next few months in the Bagehot Way Police Department.

One day, he was hiding out in Bagehot Way, with some of the Bastards of War when he witnessed the seemingly unprovoked and ruthless Pk'ing of Ulysses Nash Owen and another BOW member by Senister, whom Ice would eventually find out was the High Priest of the Cult of the Fallen God. Ice hunted down Senister and avenged the deaths of the survivors that he had sworn to protect as an officer of the law. A few days later, while sleeping in Bagehot Way, Senister visited Ice in a dream. He gave him this message:

I believe every survivor is allowed to make one mistake.
You killing me is yours, and I will allow you to remain alive for now.
I have no feud with you, unless you belong to the BOW or their allies.

Just before Ice received this message, he had been trying to join the BOW in their struggle against the infestation. However, after doing extensive research came to learn of the ongoing war between the Cult and the BOW and sought out Senister to request a peaceful meeting with him. Senister agreed to meet, stating his distrust from their previous encounter, but before they could meet, Senister was killed. Ice found him at a nearby revive point and as a sign of good faith, revived Senister and told him to meet him at the Egleton Building. Finally they were able to meet where Ice informed Senister that he would allow Senister to wage his war with the BOW without punishment, but that he would not allow the murdering of innocent bystanders, and as long as Senister did not kill any innocents he would not be hunted by him.

So things went for a little while, Ice continued to defend the survivors of Bagehot Way, and for awhile, did not see or hear from Senister again...That is until warnings that the Big Bash was coming through. Members of the BOW said that they would protect survivors and defend them against the horde when they arrived. Ice trusted them and decided to stay and fight with the BOW. However, when the horde came, most of the BOW were either slaughtered easily without hesitation, or they fled, leaving the newer survivors to be massacred by the Bash. Ice was among the survivors that did not survive and so he went to the local BOW-run revive point and waited to be revived. While there he witnessed BOW members as zombies, killing other zombies waiting for revives. One survivor requested assistance in clearing the local NT building of hostile zeds so he could look for revivification needles so he could revive those who wanted it. So Ice went to the Woolven NT Building, and cleared it of zeds. And then after a few days passed without any revives still, Ice went back to the Woolven to see what was going on. He found it lightly barricaded so he broke in and found two survivors inside. He flailed his arms and gestured to himself and sounded out many Mrh?'s. That night Ulysses Nash Owen, the survivor Ice had selflessly avenged without even knowing who he was, killed Ice and dumped his body on the street. And although this story has thus far left it out, this was not the first time Ulysses had denied Ice a revive and killed him instead. This time, however was the last straw.

After waiting at the local revive point again for another week, Detective Ice remembered his acquaintances at the Egleton building and decided to see if he could get a revive from them. So he dragged his body to the Egleton, found it unbarricaded, and entered, making sure to close the doors behind him to deter other lower level zombies from getting in. Within a day he was revived by another member of the Cult. It was here that Detective Ice announced that he was fed up with BOW and their false promises of help and protection. He requested to join the Cult and their war against the BOW.

Senister was reluctant to agree to Ice's membership because he knew that Detective Ice was a genuinely, good man, and that once he became a member of the Cult, he would no longer be seen by other survivors as such, and the war would cause him to be hunted by those he once protected. So Senister proposed a test, and told Ice to think long and hard about his decision. The test: avenge the Cult by killing Nicholas Vandurn an ally of the BOW and thorn in the Cult's side. After searching for three days around Pashenton and Earletown, Detective Ice found Vandurn, hiding alone, in the Bagehot Way Police Department, the building that started this all, and collected the bounty on his head, thus completing Ice's initiation into the Cult of the Fallen God. He has been a member of the cult since March 4th, 2008.

Since that day Ice has served the Cult well. Shortly after joining, the Cult finally defeated the BoW and ran them out of Pashenton. So the Cult settled in to finally enjoy the peace of the absence of the Bastards of War. Senister held talks with the last remaining survivor of the BoW and agreed to a temporary cease fire, until the BoW could try and rebuild, and actually be a fair fight the next time around. This peace didn't last very long however...

During this short lived peace, Senister formed a relationship with the Reformed Order of the Grim Reaper. They agreed to a peace with The Cult, however the alliance would only go as far as healing and reviving if needed. The Order would not help the Cult fight other survivors, unless their own interests were at stake. This alliance has proven very valuable as they have been very quick at helping us revive when needed. They would also prove to be very helpful in the Cult's next fight...

The 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, declaring themselves the righteous saviors of Pashenton, decided to try and rid Pashenton of all the Pking groups in an operation they called Operation: Pker Panic! Their first target: The Cult. The 173rd's leader, Ioncannon11, struck first. He killed several CotFG members and declared that the Cult will leave Pashenton or be killed and eliminated ruthlessly. However the Cult had no plans of packing up and leaving now. They decided to stay and fight. Several members quickly took up the hunt and eliminated all three members of the 173rd quickly and quietly. Operation: Pker Panic! was a complete and utter failure for the 173rd Brigade. The battle was short and the Cult's casualties were minimal. However after the battle, Ioncannon11 decided to taunt the Cult some more by posting on their group page that they had defeated us and referring to our group as The Cult of the Fallen Gay. Ice and Zephyer took it upon themselves to correct their disillusioned view on the war and edit their false propaganda. Rather than fight back directly Ion went to the board and cried about them being vandals. After discussion with the board, they decided that according to the rules of the wiki, it was indeed vandalism, and both received warnings. To this day, the 173rd pretends that they won the war. Ioncannon11 has been banned from editing the wiki, and the Cult has continued to live in Pashenton.

On July 18th, 2008 a new cult decided to challenge the Cult of the Fallen God's rule. Followers of the blood-thirsty god Khorne, calling themselves The Blood Cult, declared that if The CotFG did not declare their allegiance to Khorne, and allow themselves to be sacrificed in his name, then they would face the wrath that is The Blood Cult. ball cancer, the BC's leader, decided to murder Calvin while the Cult slept, thus starting the very shot lived war between the Cult of the Fallen God and the Blood Cult. Again, several members of the CotFG mercilessly hunted down the three members of the Blood Cult, and eliminated them repeatedly. Within a day, ball cancer sounded their surrender, and tried to instead, ally themselves with the Cult. However, the Cult refused any such alliance with such a weak group that tries to start fights and then gives up so quickly. And so ball cancer announced that he and his Blood Cult would leave the area, but would one day return stronger and to try and make allies once again.
