He let his hair grow out wildly, covering his face in funny parts and letting other parts spike up, some naturally and some crusted with gel. The overall effect is mad, looking a little less than half-planned. He'll typically wear faint eyeshadow, so you can't tell if it's makeup or if his sunken eyes are casting a light shadow. He wears a lot of black, but always has an old tan-brown leather trenchcoat on, pockets filled with assorted junk 'just in case.' | Appearance: Marcus is fairly attractive for a guy, probably could have been somebody if he hadn't thrown his own social life away. First Idea
Crafty and smart. That's the main concept for this one. This guy was prone to little bouts of paranoi in high school, things like zombies and super forts. A part of him knows these ideas were mostly to make him stand out, to be different, but perhaps the show begins to pull the real inspirations out of his subconcious, driving him a little more crazy. His bag was overstocked with (mostly useless and fake) survival things, an attempt to further accent how he wants the other high schoolers to see him. He transfered from a different school shortly before v4 starts, so is using the craziness to find his own niche in the social network. Basically island life might make him live out these ideas, constructing elaborate traps that seldom actually work and slowly losing his marbles. Probably tried to hang out with goths kids when he could, but wasn't as into black.
Elaboration
Smart, Crazy, Unique. Likes creeping everyone else out and telling his weird stories. Eccentric. He moved from another school, where being himself meant being a geek, beat upon bya particularly vicious nobody who just hated life and wanted to make it miserable for someone else. After moving, he decided to start over by decidng what image to cast himself. And nobody messes with a crazy guy. His eccentricities soon became his calling card, each new whacked-out theory and crazy idea just another story to weird out hte his classmates. He's the first-bourn in his family, but was only two when the triplets were born. They've all constantly annoyed, copied, and followed him until the move, when his new crazy attitude finally gave him his own identity. Hasn't really met any friends, just a forgotten freak, he feels each eccentricity becoming more real, losing the real self inside. "Mark Ellais?"
Final Profile
Name: Marcus Ellaine
Gender: Male
Grade: Any
School: To be decided.
Hobbies and Interests: Research. Marcus will just spend hours on the internet, looking up cool, odd, and strange things just for the fun of knowing them. He's a big dreamer, tries to write books constantly but never gets past the first couple of pages.
His plan involves building a super-shelter that will aide him in case of nuclear holocaust/zombie attack. He can't remember if it was really his idea or just a story to give himself another strange look.
He was in drama in his old hometown his whole childhood, so acting was always a big passion.
Appearance: Marcus is fairly attractive for a guy, probably could have been somebody if he hadn't thrown his own social life away. He wears a lot of black, but always has an old tan-brown leather trenchcoat on, pockets filled with assorted junk 'just in case.'
Biography: Marcus was the first-bourn of his family. An adjusted middle class family, his whole childhood should have been described as 'relaxed.' But not long after his third birthday, the triplets were born.
The three, two girls and a boy, copied everything he did when he was younger like glue. His parents thought it was just cute, that he shouldn't be mad about other people respecting him, but that made him resent his family even more.
Marcus got into acting at a young age, and when he realized the triplets couldn't copy him. All three had some kind of terrible stage fright, could even talk loudly in front of relatives they hadn't seen in a little while, but not Marcus. This was his task, his thing.
Unfortunately, being on stage in each little costume, also made him a target for the school's bully. A big old guy, the kid ignored his own problems by choosing Marcus as his personal stress releaser. For years the kid let Marcus have it, but Marcus never responded. He figured he deserved it for trying to be himself, be different.
When his dad finally got a new job a county over, Marcus started thinking nice and hard. Sure, here his life was bad. But somewhere else, Hell, maybe he could be someone else.
At his new school Marcus immediately began working on his new image, ensuring his reputation as 'the crazy kid with all tohse weird ideas and thoughts and stuff.' You don't mess with crazy.
Thus Marcus saved himself, restarted his life, by going insane.
Advantages: He has an amazing ability to work outside the box. The last few months he's sent himself into a mental frenzy, trying to be who he wants to be to the school. It's left him warped, capable of the unexpected
Disadvantages: He has no friends, no allies, and those who do know him thinks he's nuts. This has caused his to go a little nuts himself, so not everything he thinks is as coherent as when he first moved.
Story Ideas: Basically the only way to have interacted with him is to sit next to him in class or witnessed his eccentricities.
