===Updated the membership list===
After going through the membership list and adding each name to my profile, I've found only about 7 of the 87 members active. Of those 7, one has joined another group. I've edited the list with red active designations rather than deleting the inactive ones in case any members return. ---[[User:Ethmoid Eater|Ethmoid Eater]] 02:50, 25 2008 (PST)

Revision as of 09:57, 25 October 2008

The book of Life, is a book of all those who are members of the Church of the Resurrection. To join, you must first place your profile in our forum, and then place the words "Church of the Resurrection" as your group. That simple, if you are a surviver, try and get bodybuilding and a flak jacket before converting to Undeath, and become embraced by Sweet Zombie Jesus.

Thank you for visiting Church of the Resurrection in the groups list and if you did not, please see our group page to see what we are about, and direct any problems you have with us to the CotR Complaints Page. --Fullemtaled 02:25, 25 Dec 2005 (GMT)

Suggestion for Book of Life

I think the Book of Life should be changed to order joined rather than alphabetical order from now on, with new members at the bottom. That way, a quick glance at the bottom of the list will allow us to add new members to our contacts. Or we can maintain an alpabetical and chronological list. The members of our organization should have the motivation and intelligence to add their names twice, IMO. -RottemBanana 20:16, 6 Jan 2006 (GMT)

I agree, that way I do not have to keep searching to see if they are added to my contact list or not IMHO. ---ramby 17:16, 7 Jan 2006 (GMT)

Suggestion

I suggest we alter the book of life to be numbered.

  1. - Ampoliros VCM, L
  2. - Ashley J' Williams
  3. - Aurora Australis
  4. - awweber

Like so. That way we can see how meny members we are suppose to have. --ramby T--W! - SGP 08:36, 25 April 2006 (BST)

Good idea. It's done. —Amminadab 21:16, 30 April 2006 (BST)

"Add to contact list" links

I recommend that we attach a link to each member's entry for adding that member to your contact list. This would make it much easier to add our 60+ members to a fresh contact list (like mine). The code could be:

#([http://urbandead.com/contacts.cgi?add=###### +]) [http://urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=###### CharacterName]

resulting in:

  1. (+) Ampoliros
  2. (+) Ashley J' Williams
  3. (+) Aurora Australis

and so on. The advantage of having the link at the beginning of the entry is that all "add" links would be vertically aligned, making it easier to open several dozen at once in background windows/tabs. (At least one Firefox extension can open all links you right-click-drag your mouse across.)

I'll do it if anyone else thinks it's a good idea.

All the users now use Template:AddUser, but it seems you can't add people from a link as I'd hoped ("Invalid referrer", the server says). I think I'll ask Kevan about changing that. —Amminadab 22:11, 2 May 2006 (BST)
