Basic Info:
|
The Colbourne Museum is a Conceptual Art Museum.
Description
The museum is a large circular bowl shaped building with a structure leaning against the side. From a distance it could resemble a teacup and spoon.
Inside the museum, displays are all in the center and the patrons walk along the walls. It is as though, they are on display, not the art. The gift shop was the only one in Malton that took items in trade as opposed to cash, check or charge. Needless to say this business plan did not work.
History
After exhausting many government grants the museum was forced to sell off pieces to stay open. It could not find many buyers for the displays which consisted of eviscerated sheep, bloody toilets, and canvases of a single color.
After the outbreak, this was one of the first museums looted.
