I've become adept at recognizing injuries and I've become a great help to people. Welcome to my wiki page, here you will find my journal and maybe later on some other stuff too.
Now on to the rest of my page.
Journal
One day while searching through a building you find a small leather book, it looks interesting so you decide to pick it up and take a look inside. In the front of this small leather book there is a note, you begin to read it: To the reader of this book, I am Anthony Rohner, when I started writing this I was 16 years old. This journal is meant both for me and for all of you, I hope to be remembered when I'm gone and I hope what is written in these pages can help you in the times ahead.

Well, everything has gone to hell and it looks like I may not be around for too much longer so I've decided to begin writing down my thoughts. First I think I'll explain how got into this mess that I can only describe as the beginning of the end. I originally came from America but I came to Malton to stay with a relative while on my way to Germany about three years ago. My family and I could have just flown straight to Berlin but we wanted to extend our vacation and we also enjoy road trips. While we were staying there for that week a quarantine was placed on the city so we were unable to leave. After about four days my family didn't come back from a trip to get food, shortly after everyone was told to stay in their homes. That was the last time I'd seen anyone from my family. Eventually the military came through the area and told me to get in a truck, it was a troop transport and it was already about half full. After filling the truck up the rest of the way we began to drive north. It was strange, there were several boarded up buildings and there was a lot of military presence surrounding our convoy I was only about thirteen at the time so it was kind of cool but I was also really scared. After about an hour of driving we heard what I know know was gunfire, it got closer and closer until we could here the soldiers surrounding the truck begin firing. The truck swerved and hit a curb, then the driver tried to regain control, As he did he caused the truck to flip onto it's side. Most of the people were seriously hurt or dead but somehow I was okay. Finally the gunfire stopped and a soldier cam over to check on us. He saw that only I would be able to continue on so he told me to follow him. What I saw when I stepped out of the truck changed me forever, several soldiers were dead along with a large group of people who looked like civilians. There were guns laying all over the place and a few of the soldiers were collecting ammo from the fallen men. The soldier who came to check on me told me that his name was John and that at this point his only goal was to get me to safety. He was very nice to me and stayed close as me, him, and the other soldiers of which only a handful remained continued to the extraction point. Unfortunately, our trip was short lived. As we were walking several people began to appear from the sides of the road. They were everywhere. The soldiers pointed their guns at the advancing people and told them to stop. The people continued without hesitation. It was strange because the way they were moving just didn't seem natural. After a second verbal warning the soldiers fired a warning shot. The attackers were unfazed so the soldiers opened fire. The rounds connected and a few of the attackers fell to the ground. Amazingly, they stood back up! I now know why, but at the time I was scared out of my mind. John grabbed my shoulder and pulled, so I followed him. The other soldiers followed us while still shooting at the attackers. We made it to a building that looked empty and climbed past some stuff that was blocking the door. Inside were about fifteen other people. At this point I turned to John and demanded to know what was going on. He sat down next to me and told me that what we were facing now was zombies. I was skeptical but I figured I'd go along with it for a little bit. I said to him, "okay, if we're dealing with zombies, then who was shooting at us?" He told me that some of the people that are not zombies but had gone outside were beginning to kill other people for sport. I guess it was because like me they had probably figured hell had come to Earth so they no longer found consequences to their actions. I guess they were wrong and right at the same time. Either way, I'd never kill an innocent person. So, from then on the soldiers would go out everyday and attempt to find help and supplies. The survivors there became very protective of me. I found out that I was in Pashenton, I knew that there was a mall toward the South but the soldiers said we should stay in the North because it was closer to the border. After about a year or so the soldiers didn't come back from one of their trips, I decided to stay there though because I'd been safe so far. I continued to stay there until about a day ago, I had stayed there for so long and all of the survivors had been helping me, sometimes even at the cost of their own lives. I decided that it was time to do my part for our "community" of survivors in "hell." I grabbed a golf club and walked out the door. I decided to head back to Santlerville where I was staying before the quarantine, I knew the area better than Pashenton. When I made it to the mall I took refuge in a night club for the night. The next morning I looked to see if I could get in somehow. Most of the doors were blocked and I couldn't get in, but one of them had a zombie outside who was pulling at the barricades. I ducked inside while he was busy with the barricade. So, as I finish this entry I am sitting in Dowdney Mall, I'm going to try to get some sleep.

Well, not much has really happened since I first set out. I've fought a few zombies but with limited success. They just kind of stood there, but I still didn't seem to be doing much to them. I've since found a fire ax which seems to be a bit more effective than the golf club I started out with, but it still hasn't helped much. I did finally kill one of the things, or at least I think I did because it didn't stand back up. I'm getting better at this so I should be more effective at killing these things. I've gone back North for the time being, I've heard about something called a "Mall Tour" apparently, you don't want to be where it is, so I'm staying away from the mall until it passes. Well, I'll see what tomorrow brings, but until then, I'm going to sleep.

I got another kill yesterday and I keep doing better. I've mastered using my axe for fighting, so things should be much easier from now on. I'm planning on figuring out how to get into the really heavily barricaded buildings soon. I was attacked by a zombie today while hunting so I had to cut the trip short, but I did fairly well anyway. I'll need to get some medical help, which is why I'd like to learn how to get into those hospitals. Besides, I heard that malls are a great place to go for just about everything, but I can never get into those. After I do, I may try and learn how to use a gun.

Another kill and I seem to be doing well now. After some practice I can finally get from building to building without going outside, I'll be able to get into those highly baricaded now. I'm going to do some exploring later and see where I can go with my new skill. I've decided I'm going to learn more about wounds and how to spot them on other people. I've got some first aid kits that I can use to help people, but right now I don't know who needs help. Either way, that's work for tomorrow, right now I'm tired so I'm going to bed.

I've become adept at recognizing injuries and I've become a great help to people. I'm learning more and more about how to treat the wounds and I have a feeling that pretty soon I'm going to be able to perform better treatment. I've also been observing the barricades more and more lately and I think that with some more time I'll be able to build effective barricades myself. I plan on moving back to Dowdney Mall tomorrow, so I need to get some rest.
