Lejnair Corp. Division 1/History

History

The Lejnair Corporation, at that time the Furner Arms Company, was founded in 1928 as a post-World War 1 arms manufacturer. They provided easily made, reliable rifles and handguns. While Hitler was in power, they secretly used Jewish workers. The head during that time, Paul Furner, managed to bribe S.S. and Gestapo in order to save the Jewish workers. This was so the workers wouldn't be sent to concentration camps. The company also donated weapons to the French Resistance. This was later regonized by then French President Charles de Gualle as a valiant and courageous act towards the good of all mankind. Soon after World War 2 ended, the former small-arms manufacturer acquired a Board of Directors and its new name, Lejnair. The name origins of the name are unknown, yet some say that it was a horrible typo on a letter Paul Furner sent to Winston Churchill. It is said that Winston Churchill made a comment at the typo being Furner's company's name. The name apparently stuck and Paul Furner kept it. It is pronounced (legionare) and is supposedly to symbolize the roman legionaires who fought hard and protected Rome.

The new system of leadership for Lejnair Corp. worked well. The Board of Directors was run by the President and Vice President. The Board also included the Heads for each company they bought. By 1951, they had bought Saka Concrete and Henshin Shipping. These two assets would prove valuable in the future. By 1962, they bought 12 different companies including Magnum Trucks, Advent Healthcare, and Agrifarms. With these companies, Lejnair became the leading consumer corporation. They bought companies that average families and consumers would need.

However, while the Cold War was going on, Lejnair Corp. sought to provide securities for its consumers. The previously In 1983, the Lejnair Corporation, realizing that the Soviet Union was a powerful country, created Division 1 and Division 2.

Division 1 is a special military group. They specialize in training, deploying and commanding special operations groups and privately owned armies. These armies were sold to work for the highest bidder. One noted army trained by Division 1 was the early Spetsnaz teams used againest insurgency in the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan. However, the U.S. government, where Lejnair Corp. has lots of holdings, soon requested that the Director and Vice Director of Division 1 appear in court. See more on the court case United States v. Divison 2 is a specialized in training Lejnair's security teams. They specialize in training and recruiting elite forces to protect Lejanir Corp. places. While the secruity teams were trained use excessive force, it was reported by the Director of Division 2 that they would never kill anyone found tampering with Lejnair Corp. holdings. However, in 2003, a young man was shot to death by a Lejnair Corp. Division 2 security team in Boston. See the lawsuit here.

Into the 21st century, Lejnair Corp. proved to be a very successful company. With such headquarters in Moscow, Beijing, Sydeny, San Francisco, Eastown, Chicago, New York, Boston, Malton, London, Paris, and Berlin; it was said 'the sun never set on the Lejnair empire'.

The Malton Incident

In July 2005, an outbreak of a mysterious disease was reported to be spreading throughout Malton, England. While the cause is unknown still, it is speculated that a Necrotech science reaserch facility was the cause. Many citizens fled or were killed during the initial outbreaks. Soon enough, a joint military operation put in place the large walls around most of Malton. All communications were cut-off and a press release deemed that all of the people inside were dead.
This outbreak shocked Director Alexseev as Malton was considered a safe place to live. Even attempts by Lejnair's headquarters in London to the headquarters were met with the sounds of survivors trying to fight back. After 3 days, their comms failed and were never heard of since. While, the official cause is a mystery, the wide-spread rumor is that A Necrotech Corporation Research Facility let loose the agent that caused this outbreak. Many investigations are being conducted into the matter such as the UK/Malton Incident Investigation and Lejnair's own investigation.

Break Down

Due to the lack of input due to numerous missing personnel and data regarding their absence, I am forced to shutdown the group's activities this may have been due to my lack of involvement within recent months but at last notice this group has been absorbed by a coalition of groups made of Lejnair, Phoenix Security Services, Torchwood, The Monolith, Deus Ex Machina, and many other groups.
