The Knights of Saint Jude are a survivor group based in East Boundwood, headquartered at St. Jude's Hospital. St. Jude is the patron Saint of lost and desperate causes, so it is only fitting that they fight in his name as they attempt to keep the neighborhood safe for other survivors.
The Knights of Saint Jude have no affiliation with the Knights of St. Jude located in Molebank.

Philosophy

While other survivor groups seek to destroy zombie hordes, the Knights of St. Jude take a different approach, based on three principles:
1) Sanctity of Human Life
2) Call to Service
3) Humility
The Knights of Saint Jude would rather revive a zombie if given the chance. For that reason, Rotters are a Knight of Saint Jude's primary target. The Knights prefer to restore other zombies to life. The Knights will kill to defend themselves and to defend other survivors, but only as a last resort. Knights of Saint Jude are more likely to provide survivors with healing and zombies with revivification than a blast from a shotgun.
The Call to Service encourages the Knights of Saint Jude to spend their time and energy in helping the community. The Knights of Saint Jude take it as a holy mission to keep resource buildings powered, accessible and defendable.
Finally, the call to humility prohibits the Knights of Saint Jude from preaching. A Knight of Saint Jude teaches by example, not sermonizing. While the Knights are encouraged to let the community know that they are responsible for good works, they do not try to convert others. If others feel the call to join in the good works, they are more than welcome.

Recruitment

The Knights of Saint Jude welcome anyone that is willing to put service to the community ahead of their own personal welfare. If you are interested in joining, please contact us at the DnD Archive.
