I frequently quote a particular phrase from Tom Robbins in profiles, "a fortune, nirvana, or revolution always just out of reach."  I realize, however, that this may be misleading.  The phrase, as used, describes the futility of cadres of armchair revolutionaries, pseudo-intellectuals, and conspirators lacking both acumen and gumption.  I would ask instead that you infer that I am not one of these dilettantes, but rather close to achieving my goals.
