The NT mantra is a list of priorities (usually spraypainted inside NT buildings) that a NT operator should keep in mind in order to efficently use his/her APs during sieges.
The Mantra
Somebody has spraypainted NT Mantra: CADES-DUMP-KILL-SCAN-CHECK-REVIVE-HEAL onto a wall.
What does it mean?
- 1. CADES as Barricades: First thing to check is always that the barricades are up and at EHB (extremely heavily). In case of 2 or 3 zombie inside the NT you should always barricade first. If there are 4 or more zeds skip to step 3.
- 2. DUMP as Dump bodies: If CADES step is ok, you should dump ALL dead body to the outside. (EVERY SINGLE ONE. Exception is only if the NT is organized so that is possible to recognize the operators from the zeds)
- 3. KILL as kill zeds: if there are zombies inside the NT it's the right time to kill them. Everytime after you kill a zed you should return to step 1.
- 4. SCAN as Use dna extractor: we have to suppose that every zombie that want to be revived will go to the revive point. Go there and use your dna extractor.
- 5. CHECK as Check for PKers and Rotten: If the zombie is a PKer (you can use tools like the rogue gallery at www.ud-malton.info ) or a rotten zombie (you get a warning cortex damaged) return to step 4. Otherways continue.
- 6. REVIVE as finally do your NT job: revive the zed. Always try to revive 1 or 2 people every 50 AP. Return to step 4.
- 7. HEAL as don't waste your free time: keep your spare AP for later! or heal the people in the NT or install a new portable generator or collect needles/ammo/faks or kill the rottens at the revive point or etc...
