Several of you have asked me how it all came to this. What happened to Malton? How did we let the greatest city in the world become a desolate wasteland?

The answer is easy, my dear readers.

Humanity came.

We put our trust, our very faith in the belief that humans and zombies could coexist peacefully. That we could become one united community, built on the ideals of freedom, truth, and the complete eradication of the human race.

And now you see how they have repaid our kindness. Barricades. Trashed streets. Violence.

But we will not repeat the mistakes of the past. We will restore peace and order. We will bring back happiness and prosperity to this city, one human life at a time.

Malton will be our home once again.
