Background
On September 14, 2009, a small squad of six Brotherhood of Steel Paladins under the command of Paladin Jim Michaels were sent from the headquarters to scout out Malton's Northern lands. To their suprise, the Paladins found numerous police stations, necrotech buildings, and many supplies. They neutralized the zombies in the surrounding areas, and took a building as their own, marking it as the headquarters of the Brotherhood's Northern Branch. The Paladins radioed in to headquarters and requested reinforcements, but with no success. Something was blocking the radio signals. Leaving Michaels and two others to watch over the Headquarters, the other Paladins set out to clean up the signals. The Paladins came to the phone mast, at a sinister building, and entered. They found mutants, but a stronger breed. These creatures could think, and formulate plans. The Paladins cleared the signal, but all were killed except for one, who was mortally wounded. He returned to Michaels and told him of the mutants before he died. Michaels swore revenge on this day, revenge to hunt down the mutants, and cleanse Malton of the plague. Michaels set out to accomplish this goal. And one by one, Michaels surviving Paladins were eliminated. Michaels was wounded horribly by the time he felt he had accomplished his goal. The North was clean of mutants. But he was mistaken...

The recent recon mission around the Mahoney Plaza Police Department in East Boundwood. The mission was succesful. with no 0 (Zero) casualties taken. In the whole area searched (5x5 block radius) only one zombie was spotted, and it was quickly neutralized by the scouting party. Party retrieved ammo and weapons from the police department. The buildings searched were found occupied by healthy survivors.
