Hey, I was wondering what "Out" stands for on your table (http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Item/Location_Table).  I also noticed some errors that I thought you'd appreciate someone pointing out.  Let me know if you would like the input... I'd prefer to avoid sounding nitpicky if I can avoid it!  :)

Anyways, I was working on another Item/Location table (a few different layouts, perhaps) that I am hoping will be helpful to everyone and if you have any input I'd like to take it into consideration so I can give you as much credit as possible.  Please let me know asap what you want to do.  You can email me at Hialmonsta@hotmail.com if you like or just write to me in this discussion.  Whichever is better for you.

Go ahead and make any changes you want =). This was a low priority task for me. I just found myself asking, "Hmm.. I am in ____. What can I find here?" a lot. I didn't actually do any research myself. All I did was copy information from the Search Odds page.

I'll take a look at the changes you make and give feedback. Keep in mind that the "history" tab in wikis already gives credit to everyone that makes a contribution (including you!). So don't worry about giving me credit.

Oh... Now I see what you're saying. I've gone ahead and started linking the melee items to their corresponding pages. You can finish it for me. The links will help you to check your work.

BTW, it's probably better NOT to remove any x's since it's clear that someone DID find that item there. In any case, it's a matter of merging the information from the Search Odds and Items sections.

I definitely won't be doing any removing. I'll probably just add my chart below yours for an additional resource with a broader scope (while sacrificing simplicity and your compact layout). The only thing is that I don't see where it is clear that someone found certain items in areas. I scoured the site and manually recorded all the info from Search Odds as well as the item pages and buildings page and certain occurences, such as the Fire Axe being found in a PD, appear to be unsubstantiated. I'd love to see where the data came from that says otherwise so we can hopefully get some very solid statistics. Maybe when OddStarter gets back (Feb 10th?) we can collaborate with him.
Small note: The "Arms" building, commonly referred to as Pubs or Bars, is not listed in your chart. Nice work with the links btw! I'll see if I can add that to mine as well --Hilamonsta 21:34, 2 Feb 2006 (GMT)
