| | | OUT |
| The guideline page indicates that community projects may be posted here. I have such a project [[Z.A.L.P./Scent Maps|HERE]] that is designed to benifit the comunity. In past though, I have gotten myself in trouble for posting things that tie too directly to a group on wiki pages designed to be neutral. This tool can be used by anyone and is more helpful to all the more it is used. However, it was created by and linked to a group that I am in. Would it be against the guidelines to post it here? If so, what alterations can be made to the page or the location of the page to remove this objection?--{{User:A.schwan/sig}} 04:19, 15 May 2011 (BST)

| :::Yeah, I removed "catastrophic" since I thought it was (though accurate :P) a bit of a charged word, and I rephrased the traitorous accusations as beliefs, rather than statements of fact. As for groups, I get what you mean, but that logic cuts both ways, since you could argue that virtually ''any'' event or cause listed here is for a group of people who want to pursue that cause or join in on that event. And we've never had issues with that in the past, even ones aimed at other groups. In fact, one of the very first events in this page's history was for an [http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php?title=Template:Community_Projects&diff=1759693&oldid=1759655 "Anti-Big Bash" event in Ridleybank], ironically. ;) {{User:Aichon/Signature}} 21:26, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

| ::::What Aichon said. Community Projects are generally about events pushed forward by groups, which in turn are more in favour of a particular play-style than another and often aimed against the goals of other groups. Truly neutral events like the Malton Beauty Pageant are extremely rare. | POV statements have never been disallowed from CP and there is no guideline stating things should be NPOV (that would be bad). Perhaps ours was a little over-the-top (though you should have seen the suggestuons I got in IRC last night). This isn't all too important to us, though so I'll allow some less over-the-top yet still POV statement and just be on my way. ~[[Image:Vsig.png|link=User:Vapor]] 23:52, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
