|
| |
| GardG, as he was nicknamed by his fellow soldiers, was part of one of the British Army SAS squads who were sent into Malton for cleanup operations. He was a part of the covered-up [[Operation Goldwing]], which turned out to be a complete failure, and GardG ended up separated from the rest of his squad, forced to make his own way around Malton.
| |
|
| |
| He was assumed KIA and left behind when the military forces made their unorganized and chaotic retreat. Instead of attempting to evacuate, he decided to stay in Malton independently of the military forces - like many of his fellow soldiers also did.
| |
|
| |
| For a while, he stayed in [[Galbraith Hills]] with the [[Black Berets]], but when the group fell apart, he decided to move around as his own one-man army, working to protect the fully living against the somewhat living.
| |
|
| |
| Nobody quite knows where he is, but if you stumble upon a big, scary guy with a gas mask and he turns out not to be scary at all, that's the one.

| ===Documentation===
| |
| It is rumored that a diary, military journal or other writings containing more information about GardG exists. If they are found, any interesting information in them will be posted here.

| A radio communications recording from [[Operation Goldwing]], in which GardG was involved, is now available. It is of low quality and fairly large parts of it are missing, but here it is:

| Note that the transmissions are coded with vocoders making it somewhat hard to hear.
| |
|
| |
| The comm in this transmission is between Helix, Hunter and Dagger 8. The latter of those is GardG. Helix and Hunter are two transport aircraft. Although unconfirmed, Helix is said to be a H-47 whereas Hunter is a H-60. A garbled transmission from an unknown soldier is also heard between the static during the insertion itself. Chatter between the two aircraft are heard during their approach and Dagger 8 (GardG) is heard transmitting during, and after the deployment.
| |
|
| |
| Why large parts of the comm seems to be missing is unknown.
