User:Charles Degaulle/Blackboard for writing
Cool, I finally created a link to a User page for my Character that I can move around and save without affecting my UD Character page.Charles Degaulle 18:12, 8 August 2008 (BST)
Notes for 08-09-08 1. I want to eventually move or copy and paste the discussion from MichaelRead to this page
2. Move or copy and paste the "Hey" topic here
3. Move or copy and paste the "I'm new ... "
4. Move or copy and paste the "Hey Charles..."

Notes for 08-16-08 Haven't got any more news about the editing tasks I already listed above.
I worked on an idea for my character development that suggested a University for education that would be useful as a Firefighter/Engineer.
Then I queried the Wiki for College/University locations and I found a series of suggestions by a player Mr. Auschvitz and a player Funt about December 2006 (source needed) who formally made a suggestion for the creation of. The Wiki board vote suggested that the idea was interesting but under developed and would need more documentation. (Funt provided some maps and the neighborhood chosen) Voters on the subject indicated that the problem would be more likely to explain the sudden appearance of , but not any denial of the need for. (hmmm, I think that I can make a few suggestions about this but I don't think that the idea can be broached realistically without earning a DUPE rating.
Wow so close...of course a University would require a Board Admin, A neighborhood for location, City construction plans/contractors development., A School board authorization and of course several players to populate the schools teaching roles. If a character says "I went to college at Malton...", the next question would be Who, what , where, when and why.
In gameplay this would be for background as the structure would be shutdown, barricaded, fought in and overrun.
Besides the direct activity mentioned above I asked some of the DEM admin players by PM a few questions about my character development and the University angle. I hope that I might get some good pointers or some advice/criticism concerning a past history of any attempts to pursue this background. Charles Degaulle 15:55, 16 August 2008 (BST)
