Appearance

I have dark red hair and green eyes. I stand at roughly 5'8" and I'm slim. An unshaven stubble developing on my jaw.

I wear glasses and wear a grey hoodie with the hood up but you can still clearly see my eyes and fringe of my hair. A black, sleeveless coat is worn over my grey hoodie. Wearing a pair of blue, bootleg jeans and black boots. My clothes are always kept clean and I hate it when they get torn or bloodstains on them.

I carry around a camo backpack that holds everything I need from guns to med kits, ammo to syringes.

History

I was born and raised in a quiet town a few miles away from Malton. When I was a child I had a wide range of idea's of what I wanted to grow up to be. It wasn't recently that I decided to join the Army. My parents didn't approve of it but it didn't stop me from signing up after I graduated from College. I drove hallway across Britain to reach the training camp.

The training was rigorous and brutal, but it felt right like it was in my blood. The Drill Instructors called me a "natural". I continued my training until one day, a man came up to me while I was doing my daily press-ups and offered me the opportunity to train for the Special Air Service. Let's just say, I thought about it for a split-second.

SAS training was even more rigorous and even more brutal as every day was like climbing up an endless mountain. During this time I had been hearing in the news about a growing epidemic occurring in Malton. My mind started thinking about the safety of my hometown and my family, but my body remained doing pull-ups and rolling around in mud on a regular basis.

Finally, the day came. My first mission. I was brought into a clean room for the mission briefing. They told me in secret the truth about Malton and that the epidemic resulted in the dead coming back to life. Upon hearing this I was like "What the hell?", and even more messed up, that's where we were going. Why?

Hours later, the squad and I were in a helicopter overlooking the doomed town of Malton. The situation of the town looked as bad as I thought. The non-stop sound of gun-fire and screams were drowned out but the helicopter rotors. The Mission was for me to parachute alone into the streets, find whatever survivors I could and rendezvous with the same helicopter that would safely land a few clicks from my position. I landed with only a fully loaded pistol, two extra clips and a radio to the team at the helicopter. I began scouting north, searching every building along the way. Each of them filled with nothing but hungry zombies. As I neared the extraction point, I was beginning to lose hope on finding someone who was still thinking and breathing right. That was until a yell called out from across the street, I swung around to spot a desperate man in the second floor window of a police station. I entered the station to find a whole bunch of survivors in there, most of them were holding weapons like axes and bats while some held pistols and shotguns.

I told them all that there was a helicopter landed nearby to get us out of here, but despite how out-of-shape this town had become most of them didn't budge. Only a small fraction of them, including the guy from the window followed me. We finally arrived at the flat wasteland they said they would be. I looked around and spotted a silhouette in the distance, it was the extraction, no doubt about it. We sprinted towards it to finally leave this hell hole.

But...we were too late. It was already overrun by those zombies. They were all dead, their bodies were being feasted on. The group started to panic, I reached for my radio and started tuning it to reach the base to try and send help. I had almost received a signal until a rotten, decayed claw swung from out of nowhere and literally shattered my radio. The survivors had scattered and ran as another wave of zombies charged at us. I ran for my life as I fired ineffective shots over my shoulder. I narrowly managed to give them the slip and hid in another survivor populated building and absorbed what just happened a few minutes ago.

I am stuck here now. For good.
