The Shades of Malton
The Shades are a tight knit group of survivors. We are dedicated to making sure our even our newest members reach their full potential within the shortest amount of time. Our goals are realistic as apposed to the outlandish exterminate all zombies and pker's which just ain't gonna happen, well in Malton at least.
Our rank structure is not completely based on your level but on your ability to communicate and execute orders. As you join the Shades, you will choose a career that will offer you a chance to work with a team who will help you gain experience and ultimately level up. Working well with your team is also key to move up in rank.
As you increase in rank, so does your responsibility, respect and the number of people who will follow your commands. We prefer to recruit people who can take orders because if you can't follow orders, no one will follow yours.
Our tactics are that of hit and run on a large scale, in an attempt to remove the zombie infestation from sparsely to heavily infected zones and as we grow stronger in both level and numbers we hope to keep the zombies at bay and keep some area green.

Rover Squad
Striking fear and pain into the hearts of humanity's enemies, these wanderers have grouped under the Shades of Malton and made their own squad. Rover Squad. Although they do not 'rove' around aimlessly they are flexible assisting general Shade operations. Most hunters in Rover favour firearms and as such should not be trifled with. Scum of humanity and zombies beware for we show no mercy! You may run, you may hide but you will not escape retribution.
Rover Squad is a flexible and freelance squad in the Shades. Members are usually more lone/solo and prefer tagging along onto Shade operations. Led by Khorneoperator.
Home Defence Unit
HDU is head of security for the Shades of malton base of operations led by Mac Eldridge (Mac Eldridge). We focus on protecting our base and training our members to take on roles in other Units. We look at your goals and skills and try to put you in the right direction of the Unit for you.
Above all, our mandate is to NEVER LET THE BASE OF OPERATIONS FALL TO ZOMBIE HANDS.
If you decide to join the HDU you must be prepared to fight to the last breath to protect our radio operators and other unit leaders. Protecting our leaders takes priorty. If our base falls, our units in the field suffer.
Special Raid and Rescue Squad
Special Raid and Rescue Team. That says it all. We are a squad under the Shades of Malton.
All along Malton, there are people who use improvised weapons to protect themselves, who take cover from the fearful, who often die. Our job is to get them out, and into safe hands. Whether that means rescuing a dying civilian from a few zombies in an unbarricaded building or a military squad surrounded from all sides without ammo or hope. We will always accept the challenge of saving the helpless. We are trained military and police forces. We will bring injured survivors to our on-call medics for quick and effiecient treatment at the nearest HQ. This is our first specialty.
But, we are not just based on protection. We have a bite with our bark. We carry out hard and fast raids on Pkers and zombies alike. Pker trying to hide in a club? Report it to us and we'll put them in a dirt nap. Zeds crowding a hospital needed for supplies? We'll get in, do some damage, and get out with some FAKs, if we don't just clear it out. Emergency Medical Response Unit
EMRU is not a functioning unit like the combat squads. It keeps track of medics and revivers and the squad they are attached to. Construction is handled by HDU and if possible anyone else with Construction.
