MY SO-CALLED URBAN DEAD LIFE
My love of zombie flicks brought me to Urban Dead in April 2006. While perusing a horror movie website I came across a blog post about the game and promptly created my first character. A couple of months in, I learned of the Cannonball Crew and joined their group for new recruits called the Loose Cannons.
I quickly realized the advantages of being part of an organized group and made every effort to be the best survivor and teammate possible. In August 2006 I became a full-fledged Cannonball Crew member and worked my way up to the rank of Sergeant and then Sergeant First Class. In 2007 I was promoted to Sergeant Major and was able to (formally) kick some butt. In 2008 I received my First Lieutenant stripes. Today, I'm proud to be the Captain and help lead one of the oldest and finest zombie-busting groups in Malton.
My characters are pro-survivor because I've always empathized with the humans in zombie movies. I appreciate the struggle to survive and banding together to fight a common enemy. Just like the movie-based survivor counterparts, I want to kill the flesh-eating undead and avoid becoming one of them. Eating brains doesn't intrigue me, but my characters may act zombie-like when they're killed so don't be offended if you find one nibbling on your limbs.
Yes I have many characters, but I absolutely do not zerg. My characters are spread throughout Malton and well apart from each other. I play this game for fun; cheating would make it pointless.
