Talk:Edmund General United
Don't know if anyone will ever see this page, but I made it just to give our Edmund General a page ---
TechCom
Hey, are you guys still around and active? I haven't seen you guys around in forever.--JustinMullins 23:06, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Just curious why is your groups abbrevi. EDU and not EGU? isnt Edmund General United not EDU?
- laughs* well for one thing EGG-YOU doesn't sound very nice does it?
um ok the real story is I had been out late the night I started this page and had a few glasses of wine and so thats just the way it went :)--Elingold 03:52, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Still around, yes. Still active, yes. Most of us had over the past year wandered quite a bit, many of us were unconscious for most of it. You can always check the forums, too, or send a pm to someone's talk page. :) Doc Smithsfieldsoner 10:15, 08 Jan. 2010 (EST)
Hey Elingold, I made some updates, adding a testimonials section and a tag for MHG. I also registered our group on the MHG page, and put us under "pro-survivor" on the Grigg Heights page. If no one gets to it before I do I'll add us onto the Edmund General page itself. Doc Smithsfieldsoner 3 Oct, 12:36, 2007 EST
oh thats so funny! I cracked up when I read that .. nice one! Thanks for making the page better. I was up last night trying to figure out this wiki stuff and only got so far --Elingold 18:31, 3 October 2007 (BST)
I'm feeling the same way, it's a little overwhelming at first. Luckily, lots of "borrowing" from others. If there's anything you object to (templates, support, etc.) plz let me know. I'm trying to stay fairly neutral with what I've added, as far as policies/groups go. You mentioned the Malton Rangers, so I found their template. The Grove didn't have one. --Doc Smithsfieldsoner 14:10 Oct 5, 2007 EST
I added a mobile clinical page -- the people at edmund are always wondering what to do. I think we should get them to check the wiki page for missions -- we should send support to hot spots and such if we can. --Elingold 19:46, 19 October 2007 (BST)
Funny thing, they're all looking for work when if they just wait it'll surely come to them, hehe. I figure next to the Hospital the NT's the most important thing to keep running, both the one in Grigg Heights and the closest in Owlseybank. You're right, the newbies should be checking here for certain. --Doc Smithsfieldsoner 18:27, EST Oct. 30, '07
Speaking of newbies, hello. I'm one, and I'd like to join, since I pretty much live at Edmund General. So count on me for any help, if there is any help a low-level person such as myself can provide : ) Shall I add myself to the Staff section? --Atan Varno 12:41, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
sure go ahead! Welcome aboard!
--Elingold 16:52, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- Welcome aboard Atan Varno. :) --Doc S
Hehe, let's hope I never have need of a lead pipe snorkel, Elingold. --Doc S
Nice group page. Good advice except for not healing revived undead. Alot of young players need XP. Got to get it any way they can. Plus denying first aid to a creature needing aid, just because of their "lifestyle" might not be good karma, esp if you're a Doctor.
I'd throw something on your front page about Mouth's stay-over but since we both are tastefully named, there might be some confusion. --Doc smith 09:07, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thnx, but your page is better. I say don't heal known/stated members of groups whose aim is to kill humans, yes; let them heal themselves. If that's not good, then I'm very confused.
The names, hehe, have already confused me. I forgot who the hell I was a few times. :) --Doc Smithsfieldsoner
- I think Carl was the one who redesigned the Tote page. You should look at our first draft. Ugh. Tote wiki needs updating though. About the healing of revived undead. Since you have written in bold letters on your wiki page that you do not combat revive, you shouldn't have any of the usual problems (PKing, spying) with revived undead. Usually...True, a Tote will kill you just as soon as looking at you but only when dead. Alive, we can be annoying chatterboxes but breathing Totes won't harm anyone who refuses to CR. --Doc smith 06:34, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
PS: Thanks for the earlier edits. Mustn't get caught gnazhang with the food. ;o)
Hi. I broke you're barricades. Sorry. Now, you know I don't like doing this, and I didn't even get any EXP, but 14 friends were knockin' on your door there, so I just opened it. We're your friends. No harm, right? Oh also, Sorry doctor meddik. YOu were just weakened and I needed the brains. Kthxbai. --Starbucks72
- Ah, you are perhaps a member of this "Mystery" horde ravaging north Griggs? --Doc smith 06:34, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- Never heard of such. I'm just a new member who's enjoying myself with this browser based game. As far as you know. ;] --Starbucks72 12:41, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Everyone is welcome inside, but you should know that the brains of our staff have been treated with an experimental NecroTech chemical which suppresses zombie erection, thus preventing Barhah. --Doc Smithsfieldsoner 15:38 Nov 25, 2007 EST
- Oh? A cure for cancer? Don't think so. Even if you do get it, you'll never stop me. ;D Just for a bit of fun, how about you guys try to catch me and a few friends, atm at St. Seraphim's hospitol. About to be NEAR it instead. Goodbye. ;D --Starbucks72 14:22, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Right now we're in Lerwill heights, over at a cemetary right of the wall monument. Care to join? --Starbucks72 10:02, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Hello dedicated mrhmanz of Edmund General! This is DHD of Rot From The Moors, stopping in to say hello. I was wondering where you folks have scattered too? - Vigeous RHA 21:14, 15 August 2008 (BST)
Anyone Home?
- static* He...hel...lo. Thi...s...*static clears* That's better. This is Maverick Farrant, leader of the Order of the Black Rose. Checking in to see if Edmund General United is still active in Grigg Heights, and if so, if you would like to pursue an official alliance with the OBR. We are currently in the process of establishing safehouses in all five suburbs of SW-2, and contacting local survivor groups to set up talks and find out who we can count on.
You can reach us through our group discussion page, and you can also find me on Brainstock (Maverick Farrant), Beerhah (Aerthos), as well as the NexusWar IRC room #beerhah (Aerthos). Hope to hear from you soon. --Maverick 16:16, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

I think you folks are still active, but formalities are what they are. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 07:37, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- If you are still active, just add yourself back to whichever suburb(s) you are still active in. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 08:55, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Ok we're kicking it really slow style in Grigg Heights, but still around.--Sasha belle 21:18, 2 May 2011 (BST)
Thanks EGU for being a sponsor of the WMU
Well, it looks like just when we get started with the West Malton University....things get a bit hairy around town with all of those Dead fellas runnin' around. Oh well, at least the games exciting again! But I wanted to thank you all for being a sponsor with a little template I made up. Show it off if you like or keep it back here on your talk page. The thought behind it stays the same. Thanks.
