The fair city of Malton boasts a population of nearly three-quarters of a million inhabitants, both living and undead. Among the hundreds of thousands of common folk, there walk (and shamble) many individuals whose names have become famous, or infamous, in the outside world. Breathing or animated, friendly survivor or cold-blooded PKer, all attract awe, respect, derision and, needless to say, hordes of paparazzi: these are the Malton Celebrities.

Well, okay, it'll never really be comprehensive. But we can do our best! Air-kisses all around!
You are welcome to enroll your own famous self, or other famous people, in the Malton Celebrities! However, the following rules apply:
Rules of Celebrity
1. The Malton Celebrities do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, profession or dates of existence. All famous people, currently living or long dead, zombie or human are eligible for membership.
- However, only historical individuals are allowed membership. No fictional members, however famous. Sorry, Mrs. Claus.
2. Both living and unliving celebrities have a place in the Malton Celebrities, and their character name may reflect their existential status. (You're in, Zombie Karl Marx.)
3. Some leeway with spelling and orthography is allowed in a celebrity's name. However, celebrities with misspelled names are only allowed membership if their profile reflects their fame.
- Thus, JaneMansfield and Pabl0Esc0bar are members; Paul Rever isn't.
- This may mean that some celebrities exist on the list in more than one incarnation. Woo, trippy!
4. Anybody may add one or more celebrities, representing their own character or another player's, to this list. However, you must add a link to that celebrity's profile. No second-hand reports!
5. The Malton Celebrities take no position on PKing, ZKing, GKing, RKing or any other kind of 'King. (OK?) Until the day-- and that day may never come-- when we rise up together in a glittering, star-studded mob to throw off the shackles of obscurity, the group will undertake no alliances or rivalries with any other group. We're too busy being famous.
