Overview
- We are the DiE a group of necromancers who seek to restore the balance of death that has caused the once departed to rise as zombies. We are very inhospitable to outsiders and will react to violence or hostility with execution.
History
- In the medieval years after great wars were waged and lives were claimed in the millions. Great empires would sweep across vast expanses and wipe out entire civilations with very few casualties. This onesided death would cause an imbalance in world of the dead, and the souls would attempt to linger in there bodies. Unable to ultimately escape death, they would regain minor control of there bodies. The only thoughts that got through were retribution on the living.
- These "Zombies" threatened the world, but an ancient group of Necromantic assassins appeased the dead souls by killing the king who ordered there demise, and his family, this and many other deaths caused by the zombies restored the negative energies that hold the dead at bay, and the zombies fell to the ground as corpses again.
- over time the assassins became sadistic and starting to revel in there kill, and started to grow corrupt. This led them to form a new group that would shake the foundations of the underworld; the DiE. Over time this group has brought swift death to those who commit massive genocides as to appease the dead and keep the where they belong. They will also bring entire cities down to the grave in order to suppress major zombie outbreaks.
- Now they are in Malton and they bring with them the retribution of the damned...
Structure
all groups have ranks and jobs, and this one is no different.
The Entropian
'The Entropian is a being that has transcended death through ultimate mastery of Necromancy. It is no longer man or woman, young or old, alive or dead. Its thoughts are our thoughts, and its will is our will. The entropian leads us as it always has, and we will follow it into oblivion.
