About the IAHW
The International Axe-Hating week is an event founded, supported, recommended and sponsored by Colette Hart, who has a vehement hatred towards axes. Inspired after eating a large quantity of mushrooms, which were found hidden in a shelf of a store run by hippies, Colette decided to finally face her biggest nemesis: Axes. Since that day, every fourth week of July has been declared the International Axe-Hating week, in which all Axe Haters around the world protest and take actions against fire axes.
Our Creed
- 1. Axes are not weapons. Axes are not tools. Axes are instruments of barbarism.
- 2. Axes must be despised.
- 3. There is no situation where an axe is useful.
- 4. Fanatic axemen must be considered barbarians, and therefore be despised.
