Description

War Crescent is a magnificent Georgian landmark on the southern edge of Penny Heights.

War Crescent: former desirable residences, now sought-after safehouses.

History

The Crescent now serves as a revive point at GPS co-ordinates 96,79 (http://lumberjacksud.proboards60.com/index.cgi to request revives).

Its original purpose was to provide housing for veterans of the Crimean War and then the Boer War, many of whom were recruited from Malton. Those who were less lucky were rehoused in the Odo General Hospital and the Josephine General Hospital, depending on which parts of their bodies had been shot, gouged, shelled, eaten by lions or ravaged by VD.
