The first Belgian platoon

This story is about three men. Three Belgian men, Who have come to Malton to help clear out the zombies. Of course they didn't know that there were zombies. This story is based on real events by my three characters: stjaan, madd'ass and sebke.Oh yeah some of the stuff is made up. you'll see. (And yes i know Belgium doesn't have a real army. But i'm Belgian and i'm proud of it.)

The drop

In the Belgian army there were three friends. A private(stjaan),a medic (madd'ass) and a scout(sebke). One day there were all summoned to go to england, to liberate a city called Malton.They were sent there with a chopper, twenty-seven colleages and with a very vague briefing. It had something to do with making dead things even deader and stuff. It didn't made much sense to either of them. After a nice two hour flight they had to jump out of the chopper. Stjaan went down first, Madd'ass jumped as number thirteen and Sebke jumped as last. Sebke barley jumped out of the chopper and the next thing what happend was that the chopper went down! While falling the chopper hit three men. They were dead of course. Some of the guys who already landed suddenly got a heavy hat made of steel, and shorlty after recieving it they died. So the three friends were the only survivors, but unfortunately there was a wind which blew 'em away from each other.

stjaan: The hard truth, private

Stjaan wasn't really lucky when it comes to a good landing spot, because he landed in the middle of a group of some weird people. He landed and injured his leg. He asked the people for help. Instead of helping him they lurched towards him with a hungry look on their faces. Then it all made sense to him. He saw that some of the people had major injuries, half a head and all that kind of stuff. Now he realised that the dead things referred to zombies. He was eaten alive, and the remains of his body were left there to rot.

madd'ass: The wandering medic

Madd'ass had a little more luck, even when he was number thirteen. He landed on the roof of a hospital, he entered via the roof acces. He went down the stairs wandering where everyone was. When he was on the ground floor he heard voices. He entered the lobby to find a bunch of people; some injured others healing them. Since nobody wanted to talk to him, he went outside. He was surprised about how heavy the doors were barricaded. He wandered from building to building. Healing a person here and there. When he was out of supplies, he went to a hospital and looted some First Aid kits. At first he didn't dare to loot, but when he saw everyone doing it, he did it too. After a day or three living that way, someone offered him to learn how to free run. He accepted his offer. Now he could move in those nasty heavy barrricaded buildings. He tested his newly learned skill but he fell down. Then someone came around the corner. He lurched towards him. Madd'ass looked at his injuries, he went closer to heal him. Well he got a bit too close, because the next thing he knew was that thing was tearing apart his throat . He realised it too. Zombies. Survivors quickly came to kill it. Too late. Madd'ass fell to the ground. Dead, as well as the zombie.

sebke: The lucky scout

Sebke landed in a park. He wandered around for a bit, then he saw someone standing swaying lightly. As he got closer he noticed something. This wasn't a living person. He was so startled that he grabbed his flare gun and shot the zombie in the face. It went down. After that he ran away in fear. He entered a suburb called ridlybank.He noticed a sign with said: Welcome to Ridlybank, no one lives here. He saw that the sign saying was true. In panic he ran west. Until he was in a suburb called Havercroft, then he calmed down. He entered a fire department where he grabbed a fire axe and then he free ran into a mall next to it. Once inside he noticed he was in Ackland mall and he also noticed that here were living people.

stjaan: The awakening

The corps of pvt. stjaan started to move again. He stood up with an never-ending hunger for flesh, human flesh. He started wandering around. He saw someone on the streets. the person was sleeping. Still limb from dying, he moved to the man and slashed him with his claws. He kept going until the man was dead. Then the feast could begin. By eating the man, stjaan regaind his memories of live. He went to the nearest building and started to smash on the door. Once the barricades were gone he had a problem, he didn't know how to open doors. He searched his memories of live and remembered it. Then he went in. The feast was enormous, by eating that much, he remembered how he used to walk as a living person, so he could move fast. Then his brain was overloaded, he couldn't think any more.

madd'ass: Dead, alive, dead, alive

Madd'ass got up, he turned into a zombie. He remembered something a survivor said to him: "All cemetary's are revive point, you can be revived to be human again there.". He used all what's left of his human willpower to get to a cemetary, but along the way he couldn't resist and ate a survivor. Well now he remembers his memories of live to and he can speak for a little a bit. He made it to a cemetery. His brain got overloaded too and he couldn't think anymore. Just like Stjaan. He woke up, finding himself alive but weak. He felt sick too. Before he could get of the cemetery he died from the sickness. He woke up as a zombie, to be revived shortly after. Then he started moving. The infection got him again. He stood up and got back to the cemetary. ps: Tha part of being revived and getting back up was real it really happend honestly

sebke: Home sweet home

After spending some time there, Sebke started to call ackland mall his home.He made a friend there. A cop named Jeroen 93. He learned a lot about the outbreak and stuff. He learned a lot of new skills by earning other survivors respect and respect can only be earned by killing a shitload of zombies. he did well. In the mall he found some pistols and ammo, some shotguns with ammo, a radio, First Aid Kits, ... All kinds of stuff. In other places he found stuff like a flak jacket and a toolbox. When he went out zombie hunting he always started to kill zombies to the west. There was only one thing he didn't know. The second big bash is coming ackland mall's way. ps: No he didn't join a group.

madd'ass: Back to reality

When madd'ass' brain activity was returned he realised the hard truth again. He human mind took over control of his body again. He got a radio message from sebke: "Dear comrades, if you're out there please try and contact me. I'm at Ackland mall. there are a lot of survivors. I guess you notices the zombies too. Sebke-out." Madd'ass wanted to answer but he couldn't. He didn't had a radio transmitter so he decided to go to Ackland mall. He got so exausted on the way that his brain got overloaded again, he fell down. A while later he woke up, but he felt pain. He was back alive and wounded. Luckily he wasn't infected, he was to tired to get up and his body wasn't completely revived yet, so he kept lying there for a while. ps: you might wanna know that madd'ass' brain activity was gone for a looooong time. sebke even had the second big bash. So let's forget about Mass'ass and Stjaan for now and return to sebke. Madd'ass had to wait the same amount of time like stjaan. So they were both out for a while.

sebke: The black christmass mall siege

By the time sebke learned of the second big bash, it was too late. zombies were outside, tons of 'em. He free ran to a building next to mall, only to find 60 zeds inside. He took his shotgun and pumped 'em full of led. When the shotgun was out of ammo, he grabbed his dual pistols only to repeat the scenario of the shotgun. With the bullets he killed 3-4 zeds, he didn't count 'em. Then he grabbed his fire axe and let it dance around and in the zombies. After ten minutes a zombie managed to grab him. He kicked the thing in the face and freed himself. He ran back in the mall but didn't last long. The only thing he remembered was a claw in his face right after he landed... He woke up day's later. Only to find his mate jeroen 93 sitting next to him inside the mall. He carried sebke outside, he must have thought he was dead. Jeroen went inside. Sebke could hear a shitload of gunshots and zeds dying. Later on his friend came out, covered in blood. He walked up to sebke and said. "It's safe in there now. Survivors are coming, i freed the mall. Rest in peace my friend." Then Jeroen 93 left. Never to be seen again. Four days later sebke stood up, badly wounded and infected. He saw that the mall was too heavely barricaded to get in, so he moved to the hospital next to it. It lied in ruins, and there were two zeds "sleeping" inside. He searched for a first aid kit. It wasn't easy though, it was dark and there piles of rubbish everywhere. Right after he found one a zed entered and grabbed a hold of him. sebke chopped it's head of with his fire axe and then free ran to the mall. When he was finally in there he realised he was in an even badder state then when he woke up. He said to himself " THANK YOU DAMNED INFECTION!!!" Then he cured himself. He searched for some supplies and found 8 first aid kits and some ammo. He used two first aid kits and then asked to other people if they could heal him. That way, they would learn something of it. Then he slept, after all those days he could finally sleep. Right before falling asleep he transmitted a radio message to his (dead) comrades.

stjaan: The waiting

Stjaan's brain reactivated. He had recieced the radio message too. He went to Ackland mall, but he wasn't really welcome. So he went to the nearest revival point. He still is there today at: 4 February 2008. The day after he was revived. He went for Ackland mall. On the way he passed through Rolls Cinema where he witnessed a person named Jeroen 93 getting shot. He asked the people who shot why they did that. They said "He shot our christmas tree and now it's ruined!" Stjaan dragged him to the mall. Where Jeroen 93 died and didn't wake up again. Then he saw sebke, sleeping. He laid himself down and began to sleep to. Ps: It really happened. Someone shot my friend Jeroen 93 because he destroyed a Christmas tree.

a few month's later... (Madd'ass is in ackland mall too)

Malton lays is ruins...

Stjaan woke up... He and his two compagnons (sorry for spelling =() had hidden themselfs. What he saw was terrible, Ackland mall was ruined and zombies were inside. He ran north as far as he could trying to find a new safehouse, but almost everything was ruined. He checked his pda to watch a status report of the city. Almost all the suburbs were is the condition "very dangerous". He finally found a safehousee, well a small complex with one entry point. He spend his next few days with expanding the complex but after a while zombies vroke in while he slept. He grabbed his shotgun but was eaten alive right before being able to load it.
