Hodgkinson Row Fire Station

Description

Fire station HRFD.jpg

Hodgkinson Row Fire Station was built in 1962. It is a rather small structure consisting of a three bay garage and an attached two story structure that contains office space, small kitchenette, two full baths, and four upstairs bedrooms. Medic 812 15:04, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

History

The station served the community of West Grayside until the new station was built at Barter Road. The building now serves as a tactical resource point for the Fire Department holding disaster supplies and surplus fire apparatus. The station is not manned. Citizens with fire related emergencies or inquiries for the Fire Dept. need to contact the Barter Road station of the Malton Fire Dept. Medic 812 15:04, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Barricade Policy

Fire stations in Malton are recognized as important resource buildings. As such, they are to be barricaded to VSB to allow for entry and adequate protection. Remember, don't over barricade, lives depend on it! Medic 812 15:04, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Current Status

07 March 2008 23 zeds inside, many dead. 20 plus zeds outside. Building not yet ruined.--Micah 00:00, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
