You find yourself in a boarded condominium, as you raid the area for helpfull supplies an occupied room catches your eye. You find yourself opening the door and you see a poorly managed room with empty ammunition cartridges strewn everywhere. You walk up next to a bed at the far right corner and look around. The room is crimson red from the sunlight, the skies have an odd murky color from a recent storm. A bookshelf is on the opposite side of the room. You walk up to the bookshelf illuminated by the open window. You pick up a peculiar brown, dusty book with a yellow tassle clinging to the bottom. You open it and read...

It finally looks like all hope is lost now, the zombies are about to start the Revolution of Hell. This is my record of the horrible events that occured in the cursed city of Malton. I do not know how long I have left to live so I shall make this brief. My name is David Hong, I am a news reporter, this is my story...

Today I went on a business trip to city called Malton. My assignment was to gather information about the revolutionary new technology discovered by NecroTech. I was overjoyed at hearing this, this is where my father had been buried and I longed to pay respects to him. But something went terribly wrong today, and I regret ever coming. The problems all started when I visited the cemetary at noon. It had been a long day interviewing timid scientists, they were terrible speakers and I felt that I was getting nowhere. I decided to visit my father's grave and, to my horror, his grave had been defiled! I looked around carefully and found that many graves had been defiled... I staggered back and realized that something was grabbing my leg. It was a severed arm. I could not believe what I was seeing, what hell had I fallen into? I stood in disbelief as it's grip tightened, crippling my leg. I was desperatly gasping in pain and fell unconscious. I woke up today in a seemingly condemned hospital, I have no idea what is going on...

After a day of rest, I left the abandoned hospital and wandered into the streets. I could not believe what I saw, there were creatures stationed around me and they looked vaguely like humans. I had a closer look and realized that what I saw was a monster, a disfigured demon of rotten flesh and severed limbs. I staggered back and screamed in horror, after a few minutes of recollecting myself I realized that they seemed to be unconsious. They were inanimate pillars of rotted flesh. Suddenly, one of them seemed to go active and started to attack me! I cried for help and a stranger with a shotgun incapacitated it. I asked him what had happened to the city, he gave me vague outlines of the story. He invited me to a hotel that a few survivors were living in, and I now have a room with a decent bed and formidable protection from the zombies...
