Enjoyment of a polite and educated debate

All too often I come across people who don't understand my position, or don't take the time to see the argument/debate from my standpoint. And, all too often, they make ignorant statements based on biased thoughts that have no relevance to the question at hand. That being said, you are definately not one of those people, and I respect your feelings and position on the Free Speech policy.

Not only that, I also applaud you as well. There are some on this wiki, and I will point no fingers, who will often try to bait me. Unfortunately, I have bitten a couple of times - however, you garner a great deal of respect from me by not trying to offend me and turn a civil debate into a tirade.

At the same time though, I still stand firm in my position that Free Speech on this wiki is paramount and is interlinked with Civility. That isn't to say that I am not behind people being civil - but I don't think it should be forced upon people. Some people cannot effectively debate, nor can they effectively communicate. While it is sad that they have to resort to uncivil communication strategies, it is still a valid form of communication - even if the expression of their feelings and thoughts is somewhat hurtful. Rather than support a civility policy, I believe that we as a community can create an atmosphere of civility by our actions, our words, and our responses to others - by setting an example for newcomers and "old dogs" alike.

Hello, i've came here to give you a sort of thank you for not being an utter t*** about my suggestion i have now realized it is a bit, obvious but i thought that because we've only got 2 weapons in urban dead which is really quite unrealistic.
